Balfour hit the ground running as soon as the plane touched down, not wasting a second
before speeding to the hospital where Ivy was admitted.
Bursting through the hospital doors, he raced towards Alyssa and Dean, barely catching
his breath, “Grandpa, Grandma, how is Ivy?”
Seeing his grandson like this, Dean felt a pang of sympathy and gestured for someone to
bring Balfour a glass of water.
“Take a breath first. Ivy hasn’t woken up yet, and the doctors… they don’t have a clear
answer.”
Balfour’s eyes were bloodshot as he looked up, then composed himself and approached
Colton.
