Aurelia returned with Skyler and the kids in tow.
Upon seeing her, Lilith hurried over and said, “Aurelia, Ritchie and | are about to sign with Serenity Media Solutions. Don't forget what you promisedbefore.” Aurelia knew she was referring to the Hermes reward and smiled, “Don't worry, | never go back on my word.” Whether Ritchie could stick it out was another question altogether.
He was the type who would fish for three days and then sunbathe for two, dabbling in things like gstreaming before giving it up as too much hassle. He preferred the comfort of sprawling on the couch with a gcontroller in hand.

Without missing a beat, Lilith retorted, “Uncle Zack grilled up slobsters today, and they've asked us to stay for dinner. If you're hungry, just order stakeout.” With that, she hung up.
The chef had dinner ready, and Zack called his parents.
Tonight's feast featured lobsters. These were prime, succulent lobsters straight from the sun-kissed waters.
The servants set out the utensils.
Lilith couldn't help but be impressed by the family's grandeur. Even eating lobster was an event.
Belinda had insisted on the proper tools, and she was intent on shaping the Hawthorne family into a true high family. When she wasn't playing bridge to pass the time, she was poring over etiquette for the elite.
Belinda was no stranger to refinement, and she had been well-educated and was once a city heiress before her family's fortune declined.

When | was young, the rules were strict, and without them, there's no order.” Aurelia chuckled, “Sure, do whatever makes you happy. I'll get an assistant to help you organize them.” In her view, the Hawthorne family was still far from being a high family. True nobility required generations of legacy. But if it pleased Belinda, then why not indulge her? Skyler and Kane started a friendly competition to see who could shell their lobsters most elegantly.
Back at school, Skyler had to act grown-up, but at home, he could finally be a kid again.
“These lobsters are amazing, and | love them so much.” Aurelia got swarm tea for the kids.
“After the lobster, you should drink swarm tea to protect your stomach.” After finishing a lobster, Lilith said to Ritchie, “Honey, we start work at Serenity Media Solutions tomorrow, and | won't have tfor laundry or cooking, especially with the live streaming in the evenings. Your parents can take care of themselves.” Ritchie shrugged, “Sure, these are small matters. Just remember our deal: sixty-forty. Without me, you'd still be struggling with fifty thousand followers and barely making two grand a month.” Lilith rolled her eyes, biding her time. Once her star rose, she wouldn't need him anymore.
Aurelia inwardly sighed. Ritchie wasn’t an easy man to deal with. Getting anything out of him was never simple.
“Ritchie, you wanted to be famous, right? Once you sign, you've got to commit. No more half-hearted efforts.” Ritchie ran a hand through his hair in a mock suave gesture, “I know, | know. With my looks, I'll be a hit in no time.” Lilith made a face, “Maybe you could try losing a little weight, and you might look even more handsome.” Ritchie had always been on the huskier side, even as a child.
The thought of dieting was out of the question, and it was akin to asking for his life.
“Me, overweight? No way, this is the build of a real man,” he insisted, glancing over at Leah who sat beside Avery, "Leah, | look good when I'm fat just like you, but not when I'm skinny, right?" Leah choked on her laughter, covering her mouth as she coughed discreetly. Was this really the tto be bringing her into this?
