"If you want to say thanks, you could've just called or dropped a text, you know? No need for a house call. It's better for both of you to keep your distance for now." Bonnie couldn't wait to get this chubby nuisance away from Avery, "If you're straight as an arrow, why the shifty behavior? We've done nothing wrong, so why do you prevent our meeting?" Leah wasn't one for wasting words, "I'm not here to argue with you. Bottom line, you won't be seeing Avery until this whole hype blows over." A hint of scorn flashed across Bonnie's face, "Leah, you're just his assistant, not his girlfriend. You don't have the right to make decisions for him." Leah struggled to remain composed, refusing to stoop to her level, "My job is to keep those looking to latch onto fand stir up buzz from bothering him." Bonnie let out a derisive laugh. Leah's intentions were as clear as day. She had long noticed Leah's crush on Avery, the epitof unrequited love.
"Just a heads-up, you're not Avery's type. He doesn't go for the plump types. Back in school, a chubby girl confessed to him and he rejected her without a second thought. You'll always be just a sister to him." Her words were like daggers to Leah and paled her face. Marianne wrapped an arm around Leah, "I don't know what my idol prefers, but a backstabber like you? Definitely not on his list." Bonnie clenched her jaw, eager to erase that stain from her life.
"| left Avery because we will ruin each other. | did it for his well-being and | can do anything for him." Marianne rolled her eyes dismissively, "Save your breath, nobody's buying it. Just stay away from now on, you're not welchere." Their idol was theirs, and no one else's.

Upon seeing Bonnie, he paused.
Bonnie, spotting him, lit up like a torch, a flthat could skyrocket her to fame.
"Avery—" Paparazzi lurking nearby buzzed with excitement, with their cameras clicking away furiously.
Avery didn't acknowledge her and after a brief pause, he walked away.
The waves of rejection crashed over Bonnie. As she attempted to follow, Marianne and Leah blocked her path.
"Take one more step, and I'll call security. Avery's made it clear he doesn't want to deal with you. Best you cut your losses now, save yourself the embarrassment." Bonnie bit her lip, forcing a grotesquely exaggerated smile to mask her discomfort.
"I'll just call Avery later." She turned and left.

"That woman is desperate for the spotlight." Leah snorted, "These days, people would trade their souls for a taste of fame, let alone their dignity. Infamy is still a form of fame, right?" Back at the hotel.
Avery, fresh from a shower, slipped into a sapphire blue robe. His tall figure was exceptionally alluring.
Leah entered his room with the keycard he always gave her when they stayed at hotels.
He was lounging on the sofa, the collar of his robe slightly open, revealing glimpses of pale skin. His tempting muscles looked like an emperor capturing hearts.
Leah quickened her heartbeat.
If Avery's legions of fans saw this, there'd be a nosebleed epidemic.
She swallowed hard, Bonnie's words echoing in her mind. "You're not Avery's type. He doesn't go for the plump types..." Each word was a stealthy kick, plunging Leah into an abyss, into icy waters that chilled her to the core.
