Almost three weeks had passed since Kyle and the others had left the center of the Sadorla forest.
Within just four days of leaving the Sadorla forest, they crossed the borders of the Lahin kingdom.
With the use of the permit he, Beatrice, and Yasmine received, entering the Lahin kingdom had become quite easy.
The Soldiers that controlled the borders might have thrown them weird looks, but given the special permission they had received, only Kyle was frowned upon before they let the small group through.
He was not allowed to wear the mask while entering the Lahin kingdom, and was thus misunderstood as an Aldra.
Fortunately, the Lahin Soldiers were professional in their behavior, so upon seeing the blood emblem that indicated he was not an Aldra, but just a look-alike race, their gazes softened.
They also told him that it would lessen his worries if he were to consider changing to a better visible mark that indicated he was not an Aldra as the tension between the two races was still quite high.
Kyle took this into consideration, but without the necessary devices at hand, they had to wait until reaching the Capital before it was possible for him to obtain a necklace, bracelet, or head ring that radiated strong transmuted energy currents.
Through that, every Lohar would be able to tell that he was not an Aldra the moment they perceived the specific energy currents and save him from a lot of unnecessary trouble.
In the end, it was not even a special device, but something rather simple and ordinary.
But the effect of the device was what made it interesting enough for Kyle to reconsider purchasing it.
The fortune he had at hand was vast, and so was that of Beatrice and Yasmine.
Thus, they had also been able to splurge while cultivating using the remaining days they were left with before reaching the Capital of the Lahin kingdom.
Traveling via the use of the same mounts Kyle had seen the first time he met Sven gave him the chance to cultivate.
Meanwhile, Arashi was also able to focus on absorbing and converting the surrounding cultivation energies, turning them into the Soul force he required.
His Spirit Soul's speed to fulfill both tasks was extremely high, which in turn, gave Kyle the opportunity to construct two cultivation beads in a matter of 17 days!
Kyle had only spent a fraction of the entire day eating or even reading as he wanted to become stronger as quickly as possible.
After all, he had noticed that his future classmates in the Glory Knight academy must be about to enter the Krysal stage!
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtMaybe, some of them were already at the Krysal stage as the age of the students in the special class varied a lot.
Even Beatrice was allowed to enter the Special class, and she was considered to be 'slightly' older than most powerhouses of the Lahin kingdom!
Becoming stronger, and progressing in his cultivation had thus become one of his major goals.
And that was the case, even though Kyle wanted to start forging once again!
He felt that his high proficiency with the wind affinity could be of great help while forging.
It was also calming for Kyle to forge, to forget about the responsibilities he had in reality, to focus on something in his entirety, and forget the mundane tasks he had to fulfill to become stronger.
The simple thought filled him with determination as to the corners of his lips curled!
However, without the necessary time, and tasks at hand that had a higher priority, Kyle knew that he had to wait for a little bit longer before he could start forging once again.
'Well, even if I start forging again, it's not like my forging skills are any better than that of an entry-level apprentice. I guess, starting from scratch is what I will have to do, either way…'
He was not arrogant enough to believe that he still remembered everything Gard had taught him more than a year ago.
As such, starting from scratch was the only way forward, which Kyle clearly understood.
Yet, even before he could think of a proper plan to start forging during his stay in the Glory Knight academy, Kyle spotted the gigantic white walls of the Lahin kingdom's capital, Mylian!
The grayish-white walls towered over the houses of Mylian, hiding the building right behind them.
This prevented anyone from seeing the layers of defensive measures such as large-scale ballistae, and customized cannons that were further enhanced by the three cultivation energies.
The mixture between the three cultivation energies had to be precise, and there were several more requirements to fire the cannons.
However, their attack was something not even many Ascerta stage beasts could survive upon being hit by the cannonball!
Yet, owing to the fact that all of this was not visible to Kyle and the others, they could only see the towering walls, followed by a ginormous white palace.
In fact, the palace looked like a mishmash of several tall and short towers that had been connected with each other, acting as a means to see over the ginormous plains of the surrounding area.
This might even be the case and serve as another surveilling spot to see if enemies in large numbers were going to attack the Capital of the Lahin kingdom.
Several lengthy towers connected the walls that surrounded Mylian, giving the entire capital a more foreboding look and intimidating atmosphere.
At the same time, Kyle could tell that the kingdom was prepared for attacks, but also that they were afraid of being conquered!
Otherwise, with enough confidence, the defensive measures Kyle could perceive upon reaching closer to the walls would have been far less at this very moment.
Perceiving the hues of several hundred Lohars that patrolled near the walls of the Capital made him feel truly confused.
'The Lahin kingdom mostly consist of territories they don't touch owing to their traditions, but still…isn't that a little bit too much of a defense?
We are in the center of the kingdom, and its not like hundreds of thousands of infiltrators can simply reach the Capital in just one day…'
Kyle felt that the Queen was a little bit over the top with her protection, but not because of the walls, or the large-scale defensive measurements.
Rather, it was the number of Soldiers he was able to see owing to the hues his Nurture ability unveiled that were patrolling the walls.
And, in the end, there were far more of them than he could see at the first glance!
'Either something went completely wrong in the Capital, or the Queen is just overly cautious…' He mumbled to himself, not telling anyone else about what he perceived.
Unnecessarily sharing his worries withWorrying the others without reason would only create chaos, and Kyle had no evidence that something was truly going on.
It was just his feeling that made him act more cautiously.
Within the following half an hour, they reached the gates of Mylian.
After repeating the process of showing the entrance permit, the special letter of invitation from the Glory Knight kingdom that had been created by Alice's master, and the blood emblem to the Guards of the gate, they were allowed to enter.
In fact, they were not even required to pay the entrance fee to be allowed to enter the Capital.
Once they were inside, Sven provided them the necessary intel about Mylian, where everything was located, and what they had to pay attention to.
During the previous weeks, he had told them a lot about the culture and traditions of the Lohar race to acquaint them with the surroundings and the people they would meet.
But even then, there were things Sven was bound to miss out on as they were simply normal for him while they might be unusual for other races.
Thus, he repeated a few commonly known facts once again, before going over to describe the location of the most important building of the capital.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmSven and his Blazing Legion unit were marching forward through the city, and approaching the center.
Their task was to deliver the mutated Licara flower seed to the Queen after all.
She was currently residing in the palace and trying to breakthrough in order to be fully prepared for the future dangers that awaited the Lahin kingdom.
If she were to know that the mutated Licara flower seed was on her way, the Queen would have set up a huge welcome party for Kyle.
Knowing the value of the mutated Licara flower seed, she would have been overjoyed to prepare a grand feast to show her gratitude and happiness to her benefactor.
And that would be the case, even though she would hate the fact that he didn't need anything from her in return.
However, it was even worse to be ungrateful to her benefactor, and make her look like she is a shameless, and greedy Queen.
That was also something Sven and the others had thought, and they planned to send out a report to the Queen.
Unfortunately, she had been in secluded cultivation at that time which prevented anyone from approaching her.
Even the closest and oldest Head Maid of the Queen didn't dare to interrupt her secluded isolation.
The Queen was known for her bad temper, and if the rumors were correct, she even beheaded someone, who had infiltrated her cultivation dorms as she nearly had a backlash of her cultivation progress.
Thus, everything that didn't have to do with the destruction of the Lahin kingdom was considered as not important enough to disturb her and cause a possible backlash in her cultivation!
But what everyone missed out on was the fact that the Queen had been trying to break through to the next stage for centuries.
She was so obsessed with advancing that she would finish her cultivation at once upon hearing the news about the mutated Licara flower.
In fact, she would probably rush over to Kyle, lift him high in the air like a little child before hugging him tightly, just because he was willing to hand over the mutated Licara flower seed he had procured.
The Queen would even be willing to make him an honorable citizen of the Lahin kingdom, and promote him to a noble, showering him with fortunes and a piece of land.
And all of that might not even be enough for the Queen to repay the debt she was bound to owe to Kyle.
However, as nobody told the Queen about Kyle or the mutated Licara flower seed that was about to reach her palace, the news ought to shock her tremendously.
On the other hand, Kyle, Beatrice, and Yasmine were just bidding farewell to Sven, and his soldier unit.
Both groups had their own things to do, such as reporting their arrival in the Glory Knight academy.
After all, the new term was about to start in a few days.
And it was, in fact, the first term that introduced the Special class with the royalty and higher nobles of the Anadra kingdom's demihumans!
