Chapter 712
Kayson killed the Vodu Worm and shoved Josiah aside before looking at Livia. “It's alright now.”
Livia forced herself to calm down and nod. She scowled and looked like she was going to throw up.
“The worm’s... so disgusting!”
Kayson covered it with an ashtray and removed the needle on Josiah.
Kayson told Hank, who was both angered and surprised,” What's in Josiah is a Mind Control Vodu. The person
who used it set the order in advance.
“When the timing was right, the Vodu Worm would control Josiah‘s consciousness to execute the set order.”
He then looked at the Vodu Worm pinned against the wall. “That's a Devour Vodu where the worm sucks a
person’s energy dry within an incredibly short period.”
Livia was horrified. Suck a person’s energy dry? She nearly beca mummy, then? It was vicious!

Hank spoke anxiously, “Mr. Yarde, | don‘t think this has anything to do with my son...”
Kayson did not say anything decisive but asked, “You seem to know who's behind this judging by how you
look.”
“The Ochre Hall's chief comes from Southdeure’s Vodu Tribe. I think it's him.”
Actually, this was not Kayson'’s first tmeeting the Vodu Tribe either. The last one was back in Clouriv Lodge in
Clouspring, where Joseph Wadley’s secretary was one who had used the Vodu Worm as well.
In that case, Joseph did not have just the Osborns’ support but Heathein's as well?
Giving it a thought, Kayson turned to ask, “Mr. Veal, mind takingto Heathein?”
“Of course, I'm willing to lead you there!” Hank replied in a hurry. He could see that Kayson would not let his son
go if they did not get to the bottom of the case.
Royce did not expect that something would happen to his daughter at his own house. He was wrathful . “Kayson,
please do us a favor! Do anything you want. I'll bear the consequences!”
At Heathein’s headquarters...
The chairs were lined by two sides in the guest lobby. No one dared take the power seat since that belonged to
the head of the organization. The two chairs on the left and right sides after the power seat would be taken by
the chiefs of the Ether Hall, Ground Hall, Stygian Hall, and Ochre Hall.
At present, the Ether Hall's chief, Terry, was seated on his spot as he looked at an old woman with head
accessories seated to the second and across from him.
“Ms. Frost, kill Livia Shore, and I'll record it as a merit. You'll be promoted to the Stygian Hall's chief.”
The old woman, the Ochre Hall's chief, Nancy Frost, cfrom Southdeure’s Vodu Tribe.
Nancy, who was missing a few teeth, chuckled. “Thank you in advance then.”
Terry smiled. “You don‘t have to be so courteous with me. The four halls will truly be united in the future when
the eyesore Hank has been kicked out.
“The few of us are together in this. Only when we stay united can we accomplish big things.

“Killing Livia Shore is only the first step in our climb to the pinnacle in Skyriv.” Nancy nodded slowly. “The four
halls will definitely welca new glory under Mr. Wagner‘s leadership.”
Terry was all smiles and in a good mood. From now on, his status and authority would be under only one person
but above all the others in Heathein. He could kill anyone who defied him!
Suddenly, one of his underlings hurried in to report nervously, “Mr. Wagner, Mr. Veal is back!”
There was a flicker in Terry's gaze before he smirked.” Mr. Veal? Hank Veal's nis removed from Heathein
now!”
The terrorized underling corrected his term of address immediately.
Terry looked at Nancy, saying coldly, “I wanted to let Hank stay alive for a few more days before sending him on
his way.
“Too bad... It's like he really really wants to meet the reaper, right, Ms. Frost?”
