Freya pondered for a moment.

“Brax, I’m already almost nine months pregnant now. In a short while, it will be my due date. I’ve thought. about it,

and I want to go to Vroria to give birth.”

Freya shook her head. “Not yet, but Brax, if I’m not in Caltun for the next two months, I want you to keep this book

for me.”

She took out the book from her pocket and handed it to Braxton.

“The Compendium of Medical Wisdom is hidden within the pages of this book. Brax, you must keep it safe. Those

people have gone to great lengths and even turned against our family. This book must hold. some secret or value

that we don’t know about.”

Braxton accepted the book and nodded solemnly. “Don’t worry.”

Later that evening, Sylvia returned home. Freya told her about her plan to go to Vroria to give birth.

Sylvia agreed wholeheartedly.

“It’s not safe for you to go alone. I will accompany you

eyes.”

Freya felt somewhat helpless.

In the end, she couldn’t resist Sylvia’s insistence and reluctantly agreed.

After dinner, Freya returned to her bedroom.

She had already informed her master and checked Trisha’s pulse. Trisha’s condition was stable, and she was

She picked up her phone and carefully considered her words.

“Are you off work?” Freya asked.

“I plan to go to Vroria.”

There was a few seconds of silence on the other end of the phone before Radley’s voice came through.

“Why are you going to Vroria? How long will you be there?”

“I’ll probably be there for a little over two months.” Freya paused. “I’m about a month and a half away from my

due date. I plan to give birth in Vroria and come back when the baby is a month old.”

Freya calculated in her mind. If she left for Vroria soon, she would give birth in about half a month, and the baby

born two months later wouldn’t be much different from the one born a month earlier.

Radley had never had a child before, so he probably didn’t know much about babies.

Perhaps, she could deceive him.

“I’ll accompany you.” Radley’s voice sounded.

“No need. I’m not going for just a day or two. I’ll be there for over two months. What will happen to the Monaghan

Group if you come with me?” Freya smiled,

Radley’s voice on the other end of the phone became low.

“I’ll worry if you go alone.”

“Don’t worry, I have Grandma, my uncle, and his wife there. Besides, I don’t feel safe staying in Caltun.” Freya

hesitated. “You should know that there are people secretly investigating me.”

“I can handle the Monaghan Group remotely. I can accompany you to Vroria.”

“Really, there’s no need. I’ll be back as soon as I give birth,” Freya insisted.

After a long silence on Radley’s end, his low and hoarse voice sounded again.

“When do you plan to go?”

“I should leave in the next two days.”

Freya listened to the sound of his breathing on the other end and couldn’t help but feel softened.

“Don’t worry, I’ll be back soon.”

“Then, let’s meet before you leave.”

“Okay, I’ll call you when I have a set time.”

Freya chatted with Radley for a while before hanging up the phone, feeling a bit melancholic.

As she gently caressed her belly, her expression became complicated.

Because her mother was going with her.

So, Freya would follow her arrangements in terms of timing.

In Vroria, the Marshall family was delighted to hear that Freya would come to have her baby here.

The next day, Ashley called her.

“Frey, we’ve prepared a room and a nursery for you at home. We’ve prepared everything the baby needs. When

are you coming?”

Freya sat in the living room and glanced at Sylvia beside her.

“Mom, Aunt Ashley is asking when we’re going.”

Sylvia took the phone from Freya’s hand.

“Ashley, we should be going the day after tomorrow. Oh, there’s no need to prepare the nursery. I want to watch

my granddaughter all day when the time comes.

Freya listened to her mother’s conversation with her aunt and had a clear idea in her mind.

At 8 p.m., Freya returned to her bedroom from the living room.

She made a phone call to Radley.

The man picked up in no time.

“What’s wrong?” Radley’s voice came through..

Freya lowered her voice.

“My mom and I are planning to leave the day after tomorrow. Do you have time tomorrow? Let’s meet.”
