I Kissed My Professor And He Liked It

Ella’s POV When the nurse brought in my two healthy baby boys, my entire heart swelled. | couldn't believe | was a mom; | couldn’t believe | was looking at my babies. They were so tiny, and one was wrapped in a green blanket and the other was wrapped in a blue one.

“I just gave them a bottle and changed their diapers,” the nurse said in a hushed tone as she stepped toward my bedside. “Do you want to hold them?” | hadn't realized | was crying until she spoke to me. | sniffled and wiped the tears that had fallen onto my cheeks as | nodded.

“Yes,” | managed to get out in a whisper.

She swiftly placed each baby into the crook of my arm. The babies both stirred for a moment before their little bodies relaxed. My heart swelled even more, and | couldn't keep the tears from pouring down my face.

They were so cute and perfect with their little noses and mouths. It was too early to tell who they looked more like because their eyes were closed, but they had dark hair and little chubby cheeks.

“My beautiful pups,” | whispered.

Colton sat on the side of the bed and peered down at them.

“Yeah, they are,” he agreed. “Wait until they open their eyes.” I smiled as | cradled the pups in my arms, but then the memory of our wedding surfaced in my head and suddenly, I couldn't breathe.

| stared up at Colton with wide eyes as he gazed down at the pups; he didn’t notice the frantic look on my face.

We had an entire wedding and wedding guests that we left behind because | had to go to the hospital. I've been here for over 12 hours; what had happened to them? Did they all leave? “The wedding....” | whispered with complete horror in my tone.

Colton looked atwith such compassion in his eyes that it made my heart flip.

“We will have another one,” he said simply, turning his attention back to the twins.

“I ruined this one,” | said, frowning. More tears filled my eyes, and | was suddenly incredibly sad over the fact that | ruined our wedding.

“Are you kidding me? You gavethe greatest wedding gift anyone could have ever given me,” he said in return, his smile growing. “Two amazing baby boys. | couldn't imagine anything better.” | smiled; he was right. There was plenty of tto have a wedding; we were parents now. We just had twin babies and | needed to relax and be grateful that they were alive and happy. | rested against Colton as he wrapped his arms around me.

“I love you,” he whispered against me.

“I love you too,” | breathed, peering up at him and watching as he leaned closely.

His lips brushed across mine and | felt my face growing warm from the contact. He ran his fingers down the side of my face, sending a wave of chills to course through my body. | smiled into his kiss before I pulled away and looked down at my pups.

Several hours later, there was a knock on the door.

Colton went to grab sfood from the cafeteria, and | had just finished changing their diapers. Their eyes remained closed, but the doctor said they should be opening them at any moment. Both their vitals are good; strong heartbeats and they are both eating.

“Cin,” | announced to the closed door.

It opened slightly and my mother’s head poked inside. When her eyes found mine, she gavea large smile.

“Are you feeling up for visitors?” She asked.

I smiled and nodded in response, and she looked relieved as she pushed the door open, | gasped as | looked at the faces of my friends and family who were eager to flood into the room. | wasn’t really expecting so many of them to show up at once and | knew the doctors were not going to like this, but | didn’t care. | was just so happy to see them.

Corrinne and Flynn rushed to my bedside to look at their nephews.

“They are so cute,” Corrinne whispered.

“Ella!” | heard Bri say as she rushed towardand threw her arms around my body. “You had us all so scared.” “I'm sorry to worry you guys,” | said through my tears, smiling up at Becca and Rachel who were also standing at my bedside.

Uncle Aiden and Donovan were the next to wrapin hugs.

“Glad you're okay,” Aiden said as he pulled away.

“How are the little warriors?” Uncle Don asked, staring down at the babies who were sleeping between my legs.

“Incredible,” | answered with a smile.

“What are their names?” Corrinne asked eagerly.

| smiled at her question.

“Well, the one in green, we named him Asher, and the one in blue is Cooper.” “Those are cute names,” Corrinne approved brightly. Everybody nodded in agreement and then the door swung open, averting our attention from the babies to Colton who looked around the room wide-eyed.

It was clear that he wasn’t expecting so many people in this room at once, but once he took everyone in, his body relaxed, and a smile formed on his lips.

Noticed that he wasn’t holding any food, which was a bit disappointing because | was so hungry. My stomach angrily growled at me; | wasn’t sure when the last t| hated was. It had to be the morning of my wedding. So yesterday morning.

“I'm glad everybody is here because | have a surprise,” he said with a bright smile.

Everybody, including me, stared at him confused. But then our eyes shifted to behind him when the priest from the temple appeared behind him. He looked a little confused as he glanced around the room, but Colton motioned for him to follow.

“What's going on?” | asked as Colton stepped beside my bed.

“I don’t want to wait another minute to marry you,” Colton said, meeting my eyes. “I don’t need a big fancy wedding and a reception we can have at any time. | want you to be my wife and Luna, so | brought the priest to the hospital.” “He’s going to marry us?” | whispered, tears filling my eyes.

He nodded and grabbed hold of my hands.

“What do you say? You want to get married?” | nodded eagerly as more tears fell from my eyes and soaked over my cheeks. Colton’s smile only grew as he used his thumb to wash away my fallen tears.

My friends and family parted as Colton’s mother rushed towardwith a bouquet.

“You take these,” she ordered, givinga wink as she handed them to me. “And I'll take these,” she added with a large grin as she began to reach for Asher.

“I'll take the other one,” my mother breathed as she reached for Cooper.

Colton looked down atand his eyes settled onto mine.

“Ready to get married?” “I've been ready for a long time,” | whispered in return as we glanced at the Priest who stood at the foot of the bed.

As the priest spoke, the excitement ingrew. | found myself unable to concentrate on what he was saying. All | could think about was the fact that | was marrying my mate; | just had two twin boys and | was surrounded by those | loved most in this world.

It all felt so surreal and incredible.

| hadn't realized the priest had spoken todirectly until everyone's eyes fell on me.

“I'm sorry what?” | asked with a burning face.

“I was asking if you wanted to share your vows,” he repeated, narrowing his eyes at me.

“Oh, right. Yes,” | said, trying not to appear embarrassed.

| took hold of Colton’s hands and looked into his amazing eyes.

“What a crazy road it took us to get here,” | chuckled. “For a while, | didn’t think this day would ever come. | thought we were too different and that we'd reject each other and move on. But | was wrong and I'm glad that | was because | can’t imagine spending my life with anyone other than you. | couldn't imagine anyone else to have pups with. You have becmy rock in such a short time. You are my protector. You are my home. | love you so much.” Colton smiled at my words and then he cleared his throat before he began to speak.

“I will always be your protector,” he said in return. “I'll do whatever | have to keep my family safe. You, Cooper, and Asher, are my family. | will never let anything happen to you three. | know these last couple of years haven't been easy. We've faced many challenges together, but we've overcthem together and that’s what | want from our lives together. | want us to overcobstacles together because it will only make us stronger. Words can’t express how much I love you, but I promise I'm going to prove to you every day just how much you mean toand how much | am head over heels in love with you.” Tears spilled from my eyes again as Colton wrappedin his arms.

| heard sniffling around me, and | knew others were crying as well; it madefeel better knowing | wasn’t alone.

“Ella, do you take Alpha Colton to be your husband? To have and to hold? For better or worse? Sickness, and in health? Till death do you part?” “You bet I do,” | whispered, keeping my eyes locked on Colton’s.

“And do you accept Alpha Colton as your Alpha? Do you accept his authority and understand his duties as pack Alpha?” “Yes,” | said, nodding my head.

This was doubling as an inauguration into the pack. After this ceremony, | will officially be a part of Colton’s pack and I'll be able to mindlink with the Calypso pack members.

“And lastly, do you accept your role as Luna of the Calypso pack? To protect it even if it means losing your life? To care for your pack members as if they were family and to work alongside your Alpha to keep your members safe and happy?” | nodded again.

“Yes,” | answered, my smile growing.

This was tripling as a Luna ceremony as well.

He then looked at Colton.

“Alpha Colton, do you take Ella as your wife? To have and to hold? For better or worse? For sickness and in health? Till death do you part? “I do,” Colton said softly, almost breathlessly.

“And do you accept her as a member of your pack?” “I do,” he said again.

“And do you accept her as your Luna?” “I do,” he answered.

“Then | now pronounce you husband and wife; Alpha and Luna,” the priest announced. “You may kiss the bride.” Colton bent and brushed his lips across mine, sending a wave of warmth to wash throughout my body.

Everybody in the room clapped and cheered for us, makingburst out laughing as the nurse ran in with a frazzled look on her face.

She didn't like that so many people were in this room, and she made that painfully known.

“We should probably go,” Dee said with a nervous chuckle, ushering my friends out of the room. My mother and Diana began to walk towardwith the babies, but then they both stopped, and their eyes widened.

“Oh, my goddess...” | breathed.

“Did Cooper open his eyes?” Diana asked. “Because Asher just did.” “Yes,” my mother whispered. “He opened his eyes.” “What's wrong? Are they okay?” | asked, panic rising through me.

Colton went to our mothers to look at what they were looking at and his smile was radiant as he looked down at our boys.

“What is it?” | asked again, more urgently.

Colton brought his gaze up to meet mine.

“They are both Volana wolves.”
