Chapter 0064 Chapter 0064 Ella POV "I'm sorry, I have to take this," I said, motioning to my ringing phone. "It's my father." "No problem," Elizabeth answered. "Go ahead, I don't mind." I smiled appreciatively at her and put the phone to my ear. Hello?" "David is here," my father said, his tone laced with obvious irritation. “He refuses to leave unless he speaks to you.
11 "I have nothing to say to him,” I replied, equally irritated. I just saw his latest television appearance, and it's clear he has nothing of value to say to me." "I agree," my father said, "but I think it's twe put an end to all this. I'd like you to speak to him face-to-face one last time, and if he continues to cause trouble after that, I'll handle it." I hesitated. I really didn't want to have anything more to do with David, but he wasn't going to stop botheringor my family.
It would be difficult for my father and my pack if I continued to let this drag out. There were social rules about how this sort of thing had to be handled, and as the child of the Alpha, I had to abide by those rules, no matter how much I hated them.
"I'll chright away," I said with a sigh.
"Thank you," my father said before hanging up the phone.
"I have to go deal with something,” I said, smiling awkwardly at Elizabeth. "I'm so sorry I have to cut this short." "Is it David?" she asked.
I nodded. "It seems he's determined to speak toand won't stop bothering my parents until I agree." Elizabeth stood up and stepped around to my side of the table. I stood as well, and she wrappedin a tight hug. I returned the hug gratefully-it was a warm, comforting gesture that did more to boost my confidence and ease my nerves than she could have possibly understood.

The quickest I could get hwas in an hour, and my parents were going to have to put up with David's whining and lies for all of that time, so I couldn't afford to hesitate.
The driver seemed to sense my urgency and took the fastest route possible back to my parents' home. We arrived in slightly under an hour, and to my surprise, it seemed that my parents had not allowed David to enter the house.
I could see him standing at the front steps with my father, who was standing in front of the door, his arms crossed and a stern look on his face as he stared at David expectantly.
"What are you doing here?" I demanded as I stepped up the walkway toward the door.
David whirled around to look at me, and a smile of relief crossed his face. "Where have you been?" he asked. "That's absolutely none of your business," I replied coldly. What are you doing here?" 1/3 +25 BONUS Chapter 0064 "I just want to talk," he said. "I've tried to give you your space, but you won't reply to any of my letters or calls." "Because I have nothing to say to you," I said, stepping to stand beside my father. "I owe you nothing, David. Absolutely nothing, and that includes my time. You've wasted enough of my life pretending to care about me. I want to move on with my life, and you should do the same, "I don't want to move on," David said firmly. "I want you in my life." He took a step towards me.
"That isn't going to happen," I answered.
The way he was speaking and looking atmade it clear he still intended to winback somehow. I felt I had no choice but to tell him, once and for all, that he had to leavealone.
I didn't expect for it to take so much tto break my ties to him. He didn't love me, I knew that much from the original timeline. Because of that, I thought that he would be happy to be rid of me.
"I have nothing to say to you," I told him.
I could feel my father step closer behind me, keeping a cautious eye on us in case anything should happen. David glanced at him nervously, then turned his eyes back to me.
"How can you say that?" David asked. "Does our past together mean nothing to you?" "Clearly, our future together meant nothing to you," I replied angrily. "Don't try to turn this around on me. You're the one who destroyed our relationship after I had already given you a second chance." "I told you, it wasn't my fault!" David argued. "It was Amanda! I don't know if she used drugs or magic or what she did, but she forced me-" "Don't lie to me," I commanded, my patience thinning. "I'm sick of listening to your lies. Amanda didn't make you do anything. She loved you, and you used her, just like you tried to use me." “That's a lie!” David said, his eyes wide, desperation creeping into his voice.
He truly believed he could still talkinto taking him back, but nothing he had tried was working. I knew that he was nearing his breaking point.
I had no idea how he might react to when he realized that it was really over. Behind David, I could see the driver standing at the end of the walkway. He had a concerned look on his face and he wasn't taking his eyes off of David.
"This is pointless," I said firmly. "There's nothing you can say that will change my mind. There's nothing you can do that will fix this." "But I have nothing without you," he pleaded. From the look on his face, he was being serious. He really thought that he would lose everything now.
Good. I hoped that he was right.

"You'll never have a future without me!" David screamed.
I stared at him with wide eyes as his face turned red with anger and he stepped toward me.
"That's enough," my father said, his voice filled with outrage "Get off my property and don't ever cnear my daughter again."
A the sound of my father's order, the driver rushed forward and grabbed David by the arm. A guard cout of seemingly nowhere and grabbed his other arm. David struggled against their grip with his eyes fixed onthe 2/3 +25 BONUS Chapter 0064 entire time.
I stepped closer to my father as fear gripped me. I didn't want to know what David might do if he managed to get a grip onright now.
I'd never seen him so angry.
"You can't do this!" David yelled, trying to pull free from the guards. "You can't do this to me!" "You've done this to yourself," my father replied coldly.
David's eyes locked onto mine, and I saw a burning rage there like I had never seen before! "You're going to E pay for this, Ella Rowan," he spat.
"You're going to pay for rejecting me!" I watched as the guards dragged him away, and a shudder of fear went through me. I knew, deep down, that he meant his threat.
