Lukas watched her on her way up the stairs, a small chuckle on his lips.
Reese, who usually appeared to be cold and distant, was showing her shyness when it cto romance. It was a
delightful revelation to him.
Lukas cleared away the dishes in the kitchen before he started up the stairs.
When he reached the upper floor, he noticed that Elias had been bombarding him with messages.
Elias: Lukas, how's it going? Did you confess? Did Reese agree?
Elias: Why don't you answer? You must be up to no good!
Elias: | was right, wasn't I? Lukas, who would have thought that you would turn into a simp as soon as you meet
a woman that you really like!

Elias: Just tell me. How far have you gotten? Don't tellyou're not done yet, it's been over an hour!
Elias: I'm so bored. On Valentine's Day people are together and here | am drinking alone. Even you, single,
managed to find someone to share today's festivities. Unfortunately, | can't even get into Ava's house. What a
miserable life | lead!
Lukas chuckled at the one-sided nature of Elias' conversation. It seemed that his friend was overly imaginative.
Lukas: You think too much. We just finished our dinner, and she has agreed to be my girlfriend. We'll take it slow
for now. I'll propose later and give her a big wedding!
Elias: | knew it! She would be in love with you if she gave you white hyacinths. I'm pretty smart, huh?
Congratulations, buddy!
Lukas: Enough chatting, we're going to watch a movie.
Elias: Tsk... Aren't you being a bit harsh? I'm just an innocent, single guy!
Lukas decided to ignore Elias' antics and rolled his eyes. He tucked his phone away and continued on to the third
floor.
Before the direct ascent, he made a detour to the master bedroom on the second
floor. There he changed into fresh clothes and tidied up his hair.
After his quick adjustment, he made his way up to the third floor.
Upon entering the htheater, Reese immediately noticed his change of clothes.
She was a little surprised, "Why did you change your clothes?"
Since it was getting close to bedtand they were spending the evening at home, Reese had never suspected
that Lukas was trying to get her attention.
Lukas calmly nodded, though, in his heart, he was pleased that Reese had noticed his change of clothes.
He offered a simple explanation: "I spilled sgrease on my previous clothes and they were making me
uncomfortable, so | changed into these! That way, | can enjoy watching with you!"

Reese accepted his explanation without question. She approached with a couple of movie disks in her hand and
placed them on the coffee table in front of the sofa, saying, "Have a look at these. Which one would you like to
watch tonight?"
Lukas grabbed her and pulled her down to sit on the sofa. His voice was soft and affectionate, "Sit down, I'll take
care of this."
Reese couldn't help but feel a little embarrassed by Lukas' gentle care. Her cheeks turned a faint shade of red.
"These are small things and don't need to be taken care of."
But as if he had not heard her words, Lukas reached for the disks authoritatively. "Which one do you like?"
"You choose!" Reese exclaimed.
Undeterred by her response, Lukas raised an eyebrow as he selected a disk and handed it to her, asking, "How
about this one?"
Reese finally realized that despite his current tenderness, Lukas hadn't let go of his domineering streak.
She smiled faintly, her lips curving upward as she pointed to a disc on the table, "Let's watch this new sci-fi
blockbuster movie!"
