Chapter 373
What followed were screams of pain as Andy was thrown to the ground over and over again. Yet, throughout it
all, the South Regent stood perfectly still.
"It has been more than ten moves. To be honest, if you weren't a White, you wouldn't be here," the South Regent
said.
Andy lay flat on the floor, his eyes staring into the blank space above him in disbelief.
He had lost. He was no match for the South Regent. After twelve moves, he could not even lay a finger on the
South Regent's shirt and was knocked down repeatedly.
Andy felt despair. He felt like there was no way he could beat the South Regent, so how could Ethan have beaten
the South Regent? It did not make sense.
"Did Ethan really defeat you in ten moves?" he asked, clinging to a thread of hope.
"Those are just rumors," the South Regent explained.
Andy's eyes lit up with hope. "I knew it! | knew he could not have beaten you, let alone in ten moves!"
If even Ethan could not defeat the South Regent, then it made sense that he lost too. However, what the South
Regent said left Andy stunned.

Andy's mind went blank
One move? Ethan had defeated the South Regent in one move?
Meanwhile, he had exchanged twelve moves with the South Regent, only to be crushed every time. If facing the
South Regent left him in utter despair, how powerful must Ethan be?
A violent tremor ran through Andy's body, his confidence shattering with every second.
Seeing the state Andy was in, the South Regent knew how to break him completely.
"We're not far from the borders. If you want to go back, you can walk back. We won't stop you."
He planned to release Andy and then spread the news of him being outside of the borders so that others would
go after him.
Andy had cto him just to challenge him. If the young man loved to fight so much, the South Regent would
like to see if he could fight his way back to Riveria. Even if Andy died along the way, it had nothing to do with
him since he had not lifted a finger.
Besides, he believed Andy would likely kill himself. If the Whites wanted revenge, he could also use the other
families within Riveria to keep them in check
Chapter 373
The Whites were one of the bigger and most influential families, but the South Regent was not afraid of them.
After losing to Ethan countless times, he gained a lot of experience and knew how to maximize his gains while
putting in the least effort.
If he could not rival his foe, he could use others to do it. The simplest way would
be using Stephen and the Quinns to keep the Whites occupied.
The South Regent gave Andy a piece of map and then told him the way back before leaving with his men.
One of his men asked, "Are we really going to let him go?"
The South Regent grinned. "Don't worry. He won't be able to make it back alive."
Andy lay on the ground for a while to regain his senses. He glanced at the map, then dragged himself to his feet,
setting off in the direction of Riveria. However, his confidence was shattered.
He had cwith his head held high, ready to challenge the South Regent, only to be utterly defeated. Worst
still, he found out that Ethan, who he looked down on, defeated the South Regent with just one move. The
massive difference in strength made him feel hopeless.
Before he could make any distance, he was stopped by a few young men, armed with daggers.
They spoke in a foreign language, "We need scash. Why don't you spare us a few pennies?"
Andy could barely make out what they said due to their language, and the group quickly realized he was not

hold back. They beat him senseless and took his phone and wallet.
"What are you people doing? I'm Andy White! My father is a powerful man!"
The young men did not care. The louder he screamed, the harder they hit.
A few minutes later, Andy was left lying on the muddy ground with bruises and cuts all-over his body.
Tears trickled down his face. For the first tin his life, he understood the true meaning of despair. He always
thought he was young and strong, almost invincible among his peers. Now, he realized just how wrong he was.
The South Regent, only in his twenties, had beaten him up so badly he could not even stand up,
and now, srandom group of thugs had beaten him up and robbed him. He was nothing special.
He looked at the mud-filled map. He was three hundred kilometers away from the border.
Doubt crept in. Could he really make it the rest of the way?
