Chapter 672 "Stellaris Group?" Sebastian's eyes flickered with recognition.
He'd definitely heard of them before. Though the Stellaris Group kept a low profile and rarely made waves in public, it was hands down the most powerful corporation in Crestwood-shrouded in mystery and strength.
The chairman of Stellaris Group was the first to ever forge a business alliance, and the power he wielded was immense.
Citrine noticed the crease forming between Sebastian's brows and spoke with a rare solemnity. "I have a score to settle with the chairman of Stellaris Group. He once nearly killed me. Between us, it's a fight to the death—if I don't take down his company, he'll never letgo." She might have been exaggerating a little, but she wasn't lying.

He almost killed you?" Citrine nodded, feigning a hint of vulnerability as she recounted what Sebastian's other self had done. "He tossedinto a tank of piranhas. I barely made it out alive." A cold rage flashed in Sebastian's eyes. To think he'd once idolized someone capable of treating Citrine so cruelly-what a fool he'd been.
He fell silent for a moment, then spoke with quiet determination. "I'm in." "What?" Citrine blinked, momentarily thrown off.
He repeated, "I'll take the CEO position at CICI Group." Just like that? "You're sure you don't need to think it over?" Citrine stared at him, wide-eyed, genuinely surprised by his decisiveness.
Sebastian smiled lightly. "If you need me, there's nothing to consider." The chairman of Stellaris Group had already tried to feed Citrine to the sharks- who knew what he'd do next? Stellaris Group had to go down.
"In that case, you can start whenever you like, Nyour salary whatever you want. "Cel lips curved into a triumphant smile, satisfaction glimmering in her eyes.
Meanwhile, no one at SC Group had any idea their hopelessly lovestruck chairman had just been poached by CICI Group to be CEO, no less.
In the history of business, companies have always headhunted employees. But this? This was the first tanyone had ever seen a company poach an entire boss-and actually succeed.
How easy must their boss have been to poach? Later that night, after parting ways with Citrine, Sebastian headed straight to the office.
He called an emergency board meeting, gathering every director in the company.
He didn't beat around the bush. He announced his decision to step down right then and there.

"Chairman, are you joking?" one finally sputtered. "Who in their right mind gives up being their own boss just to work for someone else? Have you lost your mind?" Unfazed, Sebastian replied earnestly, "My mind's made up." Director Green's nerves shot through the roof. "Sir, it's not April Fool's Day- please, don't scare us like this!" "I'm not joking," Sebastian said, his tone leaving no room for doubt.
That sent the board into a panic.
Someone tried to reason with him.
"Sir, isn't being your own boss the LOWR dream? Don't you know how hard it is to be someone else's employee?"
"Hard?" Sebastian scoffed inwardly. He'd do anything for her. Compared to being with the woman he loved e nothing else even registered. He'd happily take orders from her-or even be her lapdog. Far from hardship, this was pure happiness.
