She was Olivia's friend. It was not strange that she thought so foully of her.
Lilian sneered, “You dumped him? You must have hooked up with a richer man! You'll regret it, Stephanie.

“Have you heard that? Chris will spend billions of dollars acquiring Whispering Bay for Olivia. Have you heard of
Whispering Bay?”
Her tone was filled with complacency.

Stephanie looked around at her room.

for you!”
Stephanie rolled her eyes. “Don’t boast so hastily until he buys it.”
Lilian was merely a foolish girl that stood at Olivia's side for Tyler's sake.
It was a shthat she had no idea what a jerk Tyler was.
Although Tyler hadn’t married, he had an illegitimate son that was already two years old.
Stephanie hung up the phone decisively.
Talking to Lilian was nothing but a waste of time.
As soon as she hung up the phone, Ella called.

Stephanie answered. “Ella?”
“Stephanie, | heard an important news,” Ella sounded stirred, “Chris is acquiring Whispering Bay for Olivia. He is
trying to contact its owner by all means. He must be mad, isn’t he?”
Stephanie didn’t comment.
“Don’t you think there is something wrong with him? Why doesn’t his family stop him?” Ella continued.
She didn't like Olivia either.
Olivia was too greedy and too hypocritical. She was mean and hostile to Stephanie, her adoptive family’s real
daughter.
Everyone in Long Harbor knew Olivia was more cherished by the Harts than Stephanie.
It was a shame.
Stephanie knew what Ella was thinking. She assured her. “Don’t worry. Whether the Ashford family interferes
with it or not, he will not get what he wants.”
“Why? How can you be sure?”
“He has always wanted to acquire Whispering Bay. If he does have the ability, he would have long succeeded.
Now that the news circulates, it must be Olivia's trick.”
