Chapter 136

Rachel, hearing the comments from the students around her, smugly pointed at Yolanda.

"Did you hear that? Everyone is fed up with your behavior! Be smart and leave Prince Gavin on your own! Don't

cling to someone else's fiancé like a mangy bitch!"

Rachel was in the middle of her rant when she noticed that Yolanda wasn't even looking at her.

Yolanda cooly finished packing her things, slung her backpack over her shoulder, and walked away, completely

ignoring Rachel. That only made Rachel yell more angrily.

"Why won't you answer me? Are you feeling guilty? You ugly creature, what kind of attitude is this? Are you even

listening to me? You think you can act all high and mighty just because you got first place?"

No matter how much Rachel threw a tantrum, Yolanda didn't even spare her a glance. It wasn't until Yolanda left

through the classroom door that Rachel finally quieted down.

Seeing that there was no more to witness, the other students packed their bags and left the classroom

too.

Furious, Rachel kicked Yolanda's desk hard.

"Ugh! You wretch! | won't let you get away with this!" she spat. However, as she was about to leave, she noticed

a piece of paper had fallen from Yolanda's desk. "What's this?"

Out of curiosity, Rachel picked it up from the floor. It was a finely detailed architectural sketch. Seeing no one

around, she quickly folded the paper and stuffed it into her coat pocket.

Meanwhile, Gavin didn't cto school. He had been grounded at hfor messing up the banquet the

previous day.

After class, Yolanda headed straight back to the Henderson residence. As soon as she stepped into the foyer, she

noticed that Joe's family and Vivian were already there, chatting away in the lively atmosphere of the living

room.

Only Diana sat off to the side in silence, her face cold.

"Oh, look who's back! It's Yolanda!"

Alice, always quick to notice, was the first to see Yolanda entering the house. She immediately stood up and

loudly announced Yolanda's arrival.

Upon seeing Yolanda, Diana snapped irritably, "You're always coming hin the middle of the night. You're

actually early for once!"

She had been hoping that Yolanda would chlate as usual. Vivian tended to sleep early and wouldn't

linger at their house for too long.

Although Diana was sure Yolanda would lose the bet, she had been comforting herself with the idea that stalling

it for one more day might ease the inevitable. Because of that, her frustration only grew when she saw Yolanda

return hon ttoday.

However, Vivian simply ignored Diana. She turned to Yolanda with a stern expression and asked, "Yolanda, the

results should be out by now, right? What score did you get?"

She didn't bother to ask about Yolanda's ranking, since everyone present knew that Yolanda couldn't possibly

have cin first. Her ranking wouldn't matter if she wasn't first.

"They're out. See for yourselves," Yolanda responded calmly as she handed over her report card.

Vivian, not even bothering to put on her reading glasses, casually took the paper from Yolanda's hand. However,

she froze when her gaze fell on the score and the ranking on the sheet.

"Getmy reading glasses..." Vivian quickly instructed Alice beside her.

"Here, Mom!" Out of curiosity, Alice leaned closer to Vivian and peeked at the report card.

"H-How is this possible?" she stammered. She couldn't help but rub her eyes in disbelief when she saw the

perfect score and the number one ranking on the sheet.

Vivian, who was now wearing her glasses, confirmed that the words she saw before were indeed correct. Her

brows pulled into a deep frown.

"Yolanda, did you get first place?"

First place? Both Joe and Paul were stunned. Even Diana had a look of disbelief on her face.

"Yes." Yolanda nodded, calmly acknowledging it.
