Chapter 0760
"Mentor, I'm not blaming you. | just need you to know-if it's not you helping me, I'd rather let my body give out
completely. That's why I'm staying."
"That's nonsense!" Suzy couldn't hold back her temper any longer.
"Elliot, why do you always have to be so stubborn? This isn't about forcing me; it's about you not valuing your
own life.
"Can't you see there's more to your life than me? Stop wasting tand cwith me. I'll find a way to help you
detoxify the poison. | promise."
"There's no need-"
Before Elliot could finish, the woman trapped in his hold interrupted.
"If you don't want to leave, then stay. If she won't help you with the poison, | will."
The woman leaned in and, right in front of Suzy, pressed her lips to Elliot's.
But before the kiss could linger, Elliot shoved her away with a forceful "Get lost."
The woman smirked and raised an eyebrow. "We're both women. What difference does it make? Just pretend I'm

Her smile turned coy as she added, "But since you're not interested, | won't meddle anymore. Let's call it a day.
I'll cback to play with you all sother time!"
With that, she pulled a packet of white powder from her pocket and flung it at them.
"Cover your mouths!" Suzy shouted, her voice cutting through the chaos.
Everyone quickly obeyed, giving the woman just enough tto escape.
When the dust settled, Suzy realized the white powder wasn't poison but simple flour.
Furious, she dashed after the woman, only to find herself too late.
Outside, the path was split into three directions, and there was no telling which one the woman took.
It was clear the woman had planned her escape meticulously.
Left with no other choice, Suzy and the others returned empty-handed to Hillside Villa.
She handed Elliot over to Allen, instructed Desmond to look after Dylan, and then headed straight to the
pharmacy.
No matter what, she was
determined to concoct the antidote as quickly as possible. She would
not let Elliot succumb to the poison.

Fortunately, Elliot's condition was less severe than Dylan's had been earlier, which meant Suzy had
enough tto develop
swnure.
She was actually affected by a small amount of the Scarlet Veil poison as well.
The reason it hadn't taken effect yet was due to her unique constitution of being raised surrounded by poisons
since childhood.
No matter how potent the toxin, her body processed it at a much slower rate.
Just like the night she first encountered Dylan, when the poison she was exposed to took three whole days to
fully manifest.
Being familjar with Scarlet Veil, she recognized that while the formula had been altered, the poison's core
prin@ples remained unchanged.
Suzy spent the entire night working tirelessly and finally succeeded in creating an antidote.
Holding the antidote, she went to find Elliot, only to discover his room was empty. Panicking, she rushed to find

you to keep an eye on him? Why is he gone again?"
"I don't know!" Allen looked equally baffled.
"He said he was hungry and askedto get him something to eat, so I went..." "Why didn't you have one of the
staff do it?" Suzy's brow furrowed deeply.
"It's just like what happened at the hospital! And now this? Allen, can't you even keep track of one person?"
Allen looked aggrieved. "I thought, since we're at home, nothing would happen. How was | supposed to know...
"That brat! He must've sentaway on purpose. What is he up to now?"
