Chapter 805
Brittany’s eyes were rimmed with a red so deep it looked like they might bleed.
She had sensed Isaac was up to something special, but she never imagined he was planning a marriage proposal.
Isaac didn’t rush her, his eyes brimming with earnest love. For the longest time, he had dreamed of giving her the
perfect proposal.
“Are you sure about this?” Brittany asked, aware of the deep yearning Isaac had for a family, mixed with a shadow
of fear.
He craved the warmth of a complete family yet feared he might not be able to nurture a marriage successfully.
These conflicting emotions had always made him hesitant to take the leap.

not giving you a proposal back then, regretted not offering you the ceremony you deserved sooner, regretted any
hardship you faced…”
He couldn’t finish his sentence.
Brittany reached out her hand, “Then, I accept.”
Isaac was momentarily stunned, clearly not expecting Brittany to agree to his proposal so readily.
Brittany couldn’t help but smile, “Are you not going to put a ring on me?”
She playfully began to withdraw her hand.
Isaac quickly grasped her hand, his own trembling as he slid the sparkling diamond ring onto her finger. It shone
brilliantly, making her slender, pale fingers even more captivating. He bowed his head and gently kissed the back of
her hand, his lips warm against her skin, “Bri, from now on, I won’t hide anything from you. I won’t let you suffer
even the slightest
bit.”
The mistakes of five years past would not be repeated.
Brittany’s eyes welled up as she pulled him to his feet and wrapped her arms around his waist. “I believe you.”
She knew Isaac was a man of his word. She also knew he wouldn’t let her be hurt again.
Isaac leaned in and captured her lips, their kiss a mixture of passion and promise. “Bri, I love you so much.”
Brittany clung to his neck, her response just as fervent.
Suddenly, a group of people descended from the upstairs, their applause and cheers mixing with the crackle of
fireworks.

Startled, Brittany pushed Isaac away, only to discover it was her closest friends and family.
Among them were Grace, Kari, and the Chester family.
Even William had shown up.
Everyone’s eyes gleamed with joy, celebrating the union of two hearts.
“Bri, you and Zac make sure to live happily ever after,” Grace said, her eyes misty. After all these years, they had
finally made it.
Beside her stood Daniel, whisked back from overseas, clutching a huge bouquet of roses. He thrust the roses into
Brittany’s arms, his voice clear and sweet, “Mommy, I could be at your and Daddy’s wedding now.”
What a privilege not every child got to have!
“Can Abby be the flower girl?” Daniel asked, his affection for Abby obvious.
Brittany smiled. “Of course.”
