Chapter 466
Yvette wanted all of them to address her as “Your Royal Highness” to make her seem more
respectable.
She believed it would impress their leader enough to gain his attention.
Daniel knew exactly what her intentions were, and he wasn't pleased about it.
It should be my daughter who gains the leader's attention! However, I can't afford to get on Yvette's bad
side after what happened with Shannon. Otherwise, she might actually convince the elders back at
headquarters to remove me from my position!
“R-Right, of course... I'll be sure to have everyone address you as ‘Your Royal Highness.’”
“Once I rise to power, I will promote you and have you transferred to Tarragon's headquarters. If you
disobey me, however, I will kill you and every single member of the Euchler family! You would be wise
to not doubt my words,” Yvette said with a satisfied smile.
Daniel went pale the moment he heard that.
“Oh, I wouldn't dare! Please rest assured that I will obey your every command, Your Royal Highness!”
Yvette slowly got up from her chair and made her way over to the door. “The leader will surely pass by
the front garden on his way here, so I'll go wait for him there. You know what to do, don't you?”
“Y-Yes, I do.”
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtLater that evening, a convoy slowly entered the boulevard and drove along the artificial lake before
stopping outside the manor.
Micah and Holden then stepped out of the car in the middle of the convoy and stood on each side of
the back door.
Micah placed his hand on the top of the door while Holden opened it. They both bowed respectfully as
they waited for the leader of Tarragon to come out of the car.
A pair of shiny leather shoes came into view, followed by the tall figure of a man as he emerged from
the car.
He was wearing an emerald mask that covered most of his face, revealing only his thin lips.
The hundreds of bodyguards around him who were dressed in black got down on one knee and
chanted in unison, “Greetings, Leader!”
The leader of Tarragon held absolute power over every single one of its members.
Daniel stepped forward and bowed respectfully at the leader as he said, “Greetings, Leader. I am
Daniel Euchler, the head of the Chanaea branch.”
The leader kept quiet and stared at Daniel with a penetrating gaze.
“This is no place for a conversation. We'll talk inside,” said Micah from the side.
“R-Right, of course.”
The group then made their way through the garden and headed toward the base behind it.
Yvette stole a glance at the leader from the gazebo. Although she couldn't get a clear view of his face,
she believed a man with such thin lips would surely be incredibly handsome.
On top of that, the leader wielded so much power that no one in the underworld was able to defeat him.
Only a legendary man like him is worthy of my love! Before this, I didn't dare to pursue Leader since I
have no idea what he looks like. But now that I've seen him and the fact that all the elders are going to
lend me a hand, I have to give it a shot!
Yvette was snapped out of her train of thought when Keira called out to her, “Please stay focused, Your
Royal Highness.”
She grabbed Keira by the wrist and exclaimed excitedly, “Did you see him, Keira? Our leader looks so
majestic and masculine with his tall frame and broad shoulders! Oh, and let's not forget those perfect
lips of his! I bet he has a stunningly handsome face to go with it!”
Keira nodded and replied with a smile, “Yes, Your Royal Highness. You are the only one in all of
Tarragon worthy of being with our leader. My father will have you go in there to serve them tea in a bit.
Make sure to seize that opportunity and win our leader's heart over.”
Yvette's eyes lit up with confidence as she said, “But of course! Given my status and beauty, a single
smile at our leader should have him falling head over heels for me!”
Meanwhile, the leader was fiddling with a communication device while seated on his throne in the hall.
“Those are the names of the traitors from all of our branches. Their actions are detrimental to the

Hall.
The leader was about to say something when they heard a commotion outside the door.
“Your Royal Highness!”
“Greetings, Your Royal Highness!”
The next thing they knew, Yvette entered the hall with a tray in hand. On that tray was a pot of really
fragrant tea.
“Lord Euchler, do you not have servants here at this branch? Why is Ms. Sullivan the one serving us
tea?” Micah exclaimed with a frown.
Daniel could only flash him a wry smile in response. Hey, don't look at me! I'm not the one calling the
shots here!
“I heard our leader would be coming over for a visit. I was worried that our lowly servants would
accidentally offend our leader with their ignorance, so I decided to serve up the tea myself. Please don't
blame Lord Euchler, Micah,” Yvette explained with a chuckle as she made her way over.
Micah's frown deepened as he glared at her with a mysterious look in his eyes.
Yvette blushed slightly as she placed the tray on the table and flashed the leader a shy smile.
The leader's lips curled into a sinister grin as he said, “I want the execution carried out at Prudent Hall.”
Yvette was so terrified that her legs gave out beneath her, and she slumped to the floor in front of the
leader.
