Chapter 305
Surprised by what Juliana had said, Bailey stared at her in confusion.
“Julie, do you have any idea who you're talking to?”
Juliana burst out laughing upon hearing that, but her laughter soon turned to sobs as she yelled, “Who
do you think you are, huh? You act like you're concerned about my well-being, but you're secretly
stabbing me in the back! You're unworthy of being my mentor!”
Bailey scrambled to her feet and said in an icy-cold voice, “Looks like you really are drunk. I'll help you
get sobered up, and then we'll talk about this.”
“I told you, I'm not drunk! Were you the one who forced Zeke to have his fiancée come to Hallsbay?”
Juliana screamed at the top of her lungs.
When Bailey didn't say anything in response, Juliana got even more agitated.
“Well? Say something! Were you the one who forced Zeke to have his fiancée come to Hallsbay?” she
shrieked furiously.
Bailey looked to the side and replied with a sigh, “Yes, it was me who asked Mr. Shurmer to have his
fiancée come to Hallsbay. I know you two could never be together, so I—”
Juliana cut her off, “That's enough from you! I thought Zoey was making it all up to drive a wedge
between us, but her words turned out to be true all along. I can't believe you'd do such a thing! Why
can't Zeke and I get together? Is it because I'm from the Hoffman family? You're just afraid of the
potential trouble I'd get you into by marrying a foreigner!”
Bailey stared at her in confusion and disbelief.
What the heck has gotten into her today? I don't remember my disciple being so mean and
unreasonable! Where did I go wrong?
“You're really drunk, Julie. You don't even know what you're saying anymore. Once again, I'll pretend it

Juliana shoved her off again. “Who are you to tell me what to do? If you're that afraid of getting dragged
into my problems, then let's cut ties right here and now!”
Bailey's eyes went wide with shock when she heard that. “J-Julie, do you even realize what you're
saying?”
“I said, we'll cut ties starting today! From now on, you no longer have to concern yourself with my
problems!” Juliana practically spat those words out.
After that, she turned around and stumbled her way out of the private room.
Bailey wanted to go after her, but she had twisted her ankle when she fell earlier. An intense pain shot
up from her ankle the moment she took a step forward, causing her to slump against the couch.
Suddenly, Artemis came running into the private room.
Upon noticing the look of anguish on her face, he quickly stepped forward to pick her up. “Come on. I'll
get you to Justin's clinic. We need to get your injury treated.”
Bailey pushed him aside and said, “Don't worry about me. Julie is somewhere out there, completely
drunk. I'm worried about her safety. Go bring her back!”
“Don't worry; Ken is already on it.”
Meanwhile, in Shelbert Condominium, Zephyr was watching Zayron type away on the computer.
After about half an hour, Zephyr lost his patience and asked, “Hey, Zayron! Are you sure this is going to
work?”
Zayron shot him an annoyed glare. “Of course! What do you think I've been doing this whole time?
First, I hacked into the Security Agency's system and copied your parents' fingerprints into the
database. Then, I hacked into City Hall's official website, copied its official seal onto their files, and
uploaded their files into City Hall's database. What do you think is going to happen next?”
“When Justin and Scarlett go to get their marriage registered, they'll realize that Justin is already
married,” Zephyr replied after giving it some thought.
Zayron snapped his fingers. “Exactly. With their fingerprints and the official seal on their files, this
marriage is now considered legal. Just go ahead and get treated overseas. I can guarantee that your
father isn't going anywhere.”
Zephyr shot him a glance before shifting his gaze toward the household registry, which they didn't even
use. “Say, what was the point of us going through all that trouble to steal this?”
Um...
Zayron scratched his head and let out a sigh. “I was initially planning on having Ratemis pull some
strings and get the staff at City Hall to register their marriage. Then, I figured the guys at City Hall
wouldn't dare do so because the Fletcher family has chosen him as a son-in-law. Eventually, I decided
to just hack the Security Agency and City Hall systems and do it online.”
Later that night, Bailey and Veronique were hugging each other as they said goodbye at a private
airport.
“Just focus on producing the test tube baby, Vero. I'll leave Hallsbay in about ten days. I'll go see you
when I get there.”
Veronique stared at her in surprise and confusion. “You're leaving too, Bay? I thought you and Artemis
were—”
Getting along pretty well?
Bailey cut her off before she could finish, “He's the uncle of Zayron and Susan, Vero. He can date
anyone he likes, just so long as it isn't me. That is simply taboo for us. We would be ostracized and
suffer everyone's contempt if we got together. Separation might just be the best way to end it.”
Veronique gave her a pat on the back and said with a smile, “Don't worry. We'll be able to start over
after we leave Hallsbay. I'll be waiting for you in Archulea.”
“Okay.”

Bailey gave Zephyr a pat on the head. “Make sure to listen to Aunt Veronique's instructions and give
the treatment your full cooperation, okay? Now that we have found a suitable bone marrow, we need
the donor to make time for the surgery. All you have to do is be patient and wait for that time to come.”
Zephyr nodded obediently in response. “Okay, I'll do as you say.”
After watching the two board the plane, Bailey turned toward Zayron and said, “Hide both their trails so
Justin can't find them. He will have to take care of his marriage with Scarlett if he wishes to see them
ever again.”
“Got it.”
The next morning, Justin found out that Veronique and Zephyr had left Hallsbay, but he didn't know
where they were headed.
Bailey wasn't all that surprised when she opened the door to Shelbert Condominium and saw Justin
inside.
“Looks like you already know about Vero and her son leaving Hallsbay, huh?”
“Where did they go?” Justin asked coldly.
Bailey chuckled and said, “So what if I tell you? Are you going to marry Vero? Have you forgotten that
you're the Fletcher family's chosen son-in-law?”
Justin let out a helpless sigh and ruffled his hair in frustration. “Scarlett has already promised to donate
her bone marrow, so why would she leave with the boy now?”
What? Scarlett has promised to donate her bone marrow? Just how naïve can this guy get? Does he
not realize that the mere existence of Veronique and her son is enough to drive Scarlett crazy? No
woman could possibly put up with her beloved man raising an illegitimate child, especially the proud
daughter of the Fletcher family! I could tell him about Scarlett's assassination attempt, but I won't
because of the promise I made with Raiden.
“She probably wants to put Scarlett's heart at ease. After all, Scarlett won't be willing to donate her
bone marrow unless she feels safe and secure. You should marry her as soon as possible, Justin.
Don't go looking for Vero.”
