Edith was very happy to receive the dress and warmly asked Alondra to have dinner with her.

She called Hendry and told him that he had to go home tonight.
Hendry had been very busy these days. He tried many ways so that he could see Kaylah and persuade
her to cooperate with him again. However, Kaylah refused his every invitation for no
reason.
Hendry really had a love–hate feeling for Kaylah, but he could not give up easily. After all, if the new

Hendry’s temples pulsed a little, but he still said, “Besides, Kaylah and I have already divorced. You are
not Kaylah’s mother–in–law now, so the receptionist naturally can’t let you go into the company easily.
Otherwise, if something goes wrong with confidential files in the company, it will totally be her
responsibility.”
Edith was even angrier when she heard this. “What did you mean? Did you think that I was going to steal
the confidential files of her company? Why are you still trying to speak for her? Now, for Kaylah, you
don’t even listen to me!”
Hendry was so tired of being pestered by Edith with trifles endlessly! It was better to go back and have a
meeting with his subordinates instead of wasting time listening to her complaints.
“Is there anything else? I still need to go back to the company and deal with something,” Hendry said and
