Chapter 757
Since the Gardners disapproved of Colton's relationship with Nicole, they forbid the two from seeing each other.

Colton's eyes darkened when he knew what Benjamin was going to say. "Nicole wasn't raised in the Anderson
Residence. Moreover, William has already cut ties with her." As he spoke, his voice was deep and hoarse.
Benjamin picked up his words and said, "Their blood relation will never be gone, Colton. If you insist on being with
Nicole, you would be giving up on the Gardner Family."
A sarcastic smile appeared on Colton's lips when he heard that. Then, he looked at Benjamin and said, "Dad, do you
think it is me who needs this family? Or is it the other way around?"
Years ago, the Gardner Corporation was only well-known in the country. Only after when Colton managed the

Benjamin's eyes darkened when he heard Colton's words. "Even if you want to give up on the company, are you
also going to give up on your parents, grandfather, and Wendy?" he asked.

Seeing Colton in deep thought, Benjamin patted him on the shoulder and said, "I won't force you to do anything.

When Wendy heard his voice, she quickly rushed toward him and sat by his side. "It's noisy downstairs. Many
strangers are claiming to be our relatives, and Mom isn't able to slip away. Thus, she told me to come and comfort
you," Wendy said as she propped her chin with one hand.
Listening to her words, Colton smiled faintly. Then, he ruffled her hair and said with a raspy voice, "Alright, you
should go to bed now. I'm fine, and I can handle this myself."
Although Colton had said so, Wendy was still worried about him. After all, she had seen how distraught Colton was
when Sasha left seven years ago.
