Chapter 302

There was a little first aid kit in the master bedroom. Neil found it, opened it, and started to strip.

He was in a bit of pain from a fall earlier, with a bruise on his lower back that looked like he might’ve

hurt his muscles.

“Sorry, are you in a lot of pain?” I asked nervously.

“What do you think?” Neil lay down on the bed, his broad shoulders giving a sense of safety. His back

muscles were fully exposed, his body fit and strong, full of masculine charm.

I took out some medicated oil and cotton swabs from the kit and knelt beside the bed, careful to apply

the medicine on Neil.

Neil stood still, and my gaze wandered over his back. Not that I had any ulterior motives, just checking

if there were any other injuries

on him.

If he was with Bonnie, there might be scratches and love bites

However, there were none on him, and I was not sure whether to feel disappointed or satisfied.

“You’re applying it in the wrong place Suddenly, Neil’s arm moved, reaching back to grab my hand. His

voice was low, “What are you thinking about?”

“Nothing, I’ve finished applying” I twisted my wrist, my gaze landing on the spot where I had

accidentally applied the medicine. It seemed like I applied it on his side.

Neil didn’t let go of me. Instead, he grabbed my wrist and sat up. He was only wearing a pair of black

pants, providing quite the visual impact.

“Your back is injured. You should rest for a few days, don’t overwork yourself.” I calmly looked into

Neil’s eyes.

“It’s just a minor injury.” Neil took the cotton swab from my hand, threw it away, and then pushed me

down onto the bed, ‘But if you really care about me, you can take the initiative. You on top?”

I blushed and imaging the scenario made me feel awkward. I had never taken the initiative before.

Neil’s palm landed on my waist, suddenly squeezing it, “About that lie, you told me last night, we

havent settled that yet.”

I feel a twinge of pain, can’t help but suck in a breath, then explain, I was just too tired last night, I didn’t

mean I didn’t want you to touch

me.”

“You expect me to believe that?” Neil’s grip tightened. His large hand seemed to be teasing me, I

turned pale

“Really.” I bit my lip, enduring the pain, once again affirming I’m telling the truth.

Neil smirked, his voice even lower, “Is that so? Well, you’re not tired today, right?”

I could only say I was not tired.

Then Neil kissed me, and he was gentle today. His tongue gently pred open my lips, his breath warm

and soft.

“Mhm,” I couldn’t help but let out a moan.

Neil stopped, his eyes close to mine, filled with desire. He deliberately bit me, making me tense up

Neil let go of my lips, a mischievous smile in his eyes, then lifted the hem of my shirt without a second

thought, slipping his hand in.

I was a bit dazed each time I resisted. In the end, I would be overwhelmed by the pleasure, feeling

shame but also helplessly sinking

into it.

An hour later, I crawled out of bed.

Neil had already taken a shower. I picked up my clothes from the floor and put them back on.

Otherwise, if Ryan and Faith found out I just changed my clothes, they might start guessing.

While Neil was still in the shower, I quickly headed downstairs.

“Ms. Finch, I’ve finished setting up the Christmas wreath Hannah saw me and smirked.

I got the feeling she knew something, and I quickly averted my eyes.

Just then, Faith walked out with a roast turkey, cheerfully calling me over, ‘Irene, come try my roast

turkey. It smells great.”

“Sure.” I nodded and sat on the couch, feeling like a warmly welcomed guest.

Faith’s cooking was good, and I ate a lot. She was all smiles, turning to Ryan and saying. “Look, if I

cooked for Irene, she might put on same weight’

I quickly reply. “That’s not necessary. Hannah’s cooking is also good; I’ll gain weight.”

Hannah smiled at me, nodding, “Don’t worry, Ms. Finch really likes my cooking”

Faith laughed and said, “I know Hannah is a great cook. From now on, I’ll count on you to take care of

Irene’s diet. If she puts on a pound, I’ll reward you with a thousand dollars.”

Hannah was surprised, quickly waving her hands, “No, no, no, it’s my job, no need for a reward.”

Faith insisted, “No womes, as long as you can do it, you deserve the reward!”

Listening to them, I didn’t know how to join in. Just then, Neil finished his shower, changed his clothes,

and came downstairs. Seeing Faith and Hannah arguing about something, he didn’t ask.

Faith quickly changed the subject, asking Neil, “If Irene could gain some weight, shouldn’t we reward

Hannah?”

Neil’s gaze landed on me, then lingered on my chest, and then he replied, “Hmm, if you can gain ten

pounds, I’ll reward Hannah with a

car.”

This reward was even bigger. Hannah was stunned, not knowing how to react for a moment.

I whispered in her ear, “It’s okay. When your parents come, they’ll need money to settle down; don’t

refuse.”

Hannah nodded reluctantly, “Okay, I’ll definitely take good care of Ms. Finch.”

Just as the atmosphere was getting warm, the doorbell rang.

Hannah ran to answer it; it was the neighborhood manager delivering a document bag that required

Neil’s signature.

Neil walked over and took the bag, looking a bit puzzled, probably not sure what was inside.

He opened the bag and pulled out a document. After reading it, his face turned sour. He put the

document back into the bag and headed upstairs

‘Neil, what was that document?” Faith called out to ask.

“Nothing, just some work stuff. I need to deal with it, excuse me.” Neil headed upstairs without looking

back. 1

Watching his retreating figure, I couldn’t help but feel something was off. If it was work-related, Neil

wouldn’t avoid us, especially Ryan. He could’ve talked about it with Ryan.

But I didn’t ask. Instead, I reassured Faith, “He often works late in the study. Even though the company

is on holiday, there’s still work to do; it’s normal.”

Faith nodded, but her eyes still told a tale of doubt and worry.

I glanced at the stairs, telling myself in my head to stop overthinking.
