Jack shook his head. He had planned out his next steps. Whether or not he would succeed would depend on his
luck, but as long as he managed to do what he needed to, he would benefit a lot.
Jack took a deep breath before he said, his expression stem with resolute, “We can’t leave; we need to join them.
Not only that, but we have to emerge as victors.”
Rudy had a look of complete shock as he stared at Jack, realizing how committed he was.
Earlier, Jack had just said that he was right, that going in would put himself in a lot of danger. This battle was
already a huge problem for Rudy. Participating was equal to throwing oneself into the problem with not much to
gain from it!
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtRudy’s lips twitched, suddenly finding himself at a loss for words.
Various thoughts played in his head. If they joined, Jack would definitely attract attention with his skills. His identity
might even end up being exposed over some minute detail. Then, the warriors from second-grade worlds would do
everything they could to attack Jack.
They could not even rely on the warriors from third-grade worlds this time. All of them who were in the battle were
those who stood at the top and were selfish. They would not even blink when regular warriors died in front of them
as long as it did not affect them personally, let alone Jack.
Meanwhile, Rudy supposed it was not just the warriors from second-grade worlds who hated Jack for various
reasons.
A fraction of the third-grade-world warriors probably hated Jack too. After all, Jack was practically a god in the eyes
of the regular warriors from third-grade worlds, and those who sat at the summit of these worlds never protected
the regular warriors when it was needed.
Instead, a warrior from Hestia that appeared out of nowhere had saved them. The ones that stood at the top had
lost a lot of their respect and authority from that.
Rudy was sure that all of those people probably pinned the blame on Jack. They were the ones at fault, but never
would they concede to this.
The ones gathered there were all the warriors from third-grade worlds who hated Jack the most. The moment
Jack’s identity was exposed, he might end up getting attacked en masse.
Just thinking of this made Rudy anxious.
He looked up and said seriously, “Think this through, Jack. Didn’t you say that you could be trapped in the tidal wave

Before Rudy could finish, Jack stopped him.
He turned and patted Rudy on the shoulder. “I know what you’re worried about, but I’ve already thought about it.
Don’t worry, I won’t put myself in danger.”
Jack stopped at this, not going into detail regarding his thoughts. However, Rudy was more worried because of that.
He felt like he was at the edge of a cliff.
He understood how Jack was. Once he decided on something, nothing Rudy said would sway him. He knew that he
should trust Jack’s decision, but he could not help but worry.
Just as he was panicking, he saw four people gathered together in the distance.
Rudy’s attention was suddenly attracted. He looked over and noticed that on the fringes of the battle were groups
of two or three, or groups of four to five sitting on the ground together.
