Chapter 409
Charlie said, “You can go to sleep. I didn’t do anything to you.”
“You just woke me up.” Charlie kissed Theresa when she fell asleep.
Charlie withdrew his hand and said, “OK, I won’t touch you.”

After a while, someone knocked on the door. Charlie quietly looked at Theresa who was asleep.
“Dad.” Ben’s voice came from the door.
Charlie frowned when he heard that.
Janet woke up Leonard. It was cold today. Leonard didn’t want to get up. Ben got up and put on his clothes, while
Leonard was still on his bed.
As soon as Leonard walked out of his room, he saw Ben standing in front of Theresa and Charlie’s bedroom.
Leonard came over and asked curiously, “What are you doing?”
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇt“It’s snowing.” Ben said, “I want mom to see it.”
“She hasn’t gotten up yet.” Leonard looked at the closed door and analyzed it.
Ben stared at the door and guessed. “Are they making a baby sister for us?” “Sister?” When Leonard heard that, he
was instantly on the alert. Leonard stared at Ben.
Ben said, “Lemia said her parents would make a baby brother for her, but I want a sister.”
When Leonard heard Ben’s words, he was excited, as if he had found a new continent.
Leonard didn’t want to knock on the door. Hearing that, he began to do that.
Leonard didn’t want a sister!
Mom belongs to him!
Now, Leonard’s mother had less time to accompany him. If he had a sister, his mother would totally ignore him.
Charlie lay on the bed. When he heard his two kids knocking on the door all the time, He picked up his mobile phone
and sent a message.
After a while, Jonathan received his message. He soon went to their door. He looked at Leonard and Ben and said,
“What are you doing?”
Leonard looked up at Jonathan. “Open the door!”
Jonathan was speechless. He suddenly realized that Mr. Calsis called him because he needed
him to coax these two kids away.
However, Leonard was not afraid of Jonathan. He kept giving the order. Leonard’s solemn look was the same as
Charlie’s.
Jonathan calmed himself down and said, “They haven’t got up yet. Let’s go downstairs for
breakfast first.”
Ben said, “I want my mother to watch the snow with me. It’s snowing outside.”
Jonathan said, “How about I go with you?”
When Ben saw that no one opened the door, he had to compromise, “OK.”
Ben agreed with Jonathan. He wanted to leave but found Leonard still standing there. Jonathan said, “Leonard, let’s
go to watch the snow.”
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏm“I don’t want to watch it.” Leonard said, “Where’s my mother? I don’t want a sister.”
“Um.” Jonathan said, “What sister?”
“I don’t want her to make a baby sister for me.” Leonard showed a solemn look at this time:
For him, it was far more important than the snow.
Jonathan looked at him with puzzlement and said, “Who said you would have a sister?”
Leonard looked at Ben.
Ben explained, “Lemia said.”
“Who is Lemia?”
“One of my classmates.”
Jonathan smiled and said, “Don’t worry. You won’t have a sister. Let’s go downstairs.”
It was not an easy job for Jonathan to coax Leonard and Ben downstairs and watch the snow at
the door.
Janet came to ask them to have breakfast.
It was cold today. Theresa got up late. When she got up, she was so sleepy that she sat by the
window, stirring her coffee. She needed a cup of coffee to refresh herself.
