“I heard that my sister was injured. I came to see her. How is she? Is she okay?” Although she hated Theresa to

her own.
Charlie reached the couch, and Theresa helped him sit down on the sofa. She now wanted
Charlie to rest well instead of overusing his muscles. Charlie had been sitting in a wheelchair for almost two years.
Even if he can stand up on his own, he should take it slow so as not to strain and hurt himself.
Johnson looked at Theresa and said, “Are you alright?”
Theresa said, “I’m fine, you don’t have to worry too much. What truly matters is that you take
good care of your body.” Theresa said and sat down beside Charlie.
“Where is Jimmy Watson?” Johnson was quite concerned about Jimmy’s whereabouts.
Seeing that it was really hard for Theresa to talk, Brenda replied for her from the side, “He was
beaten up by Mr. Calsis and has now gone back to his own home.”

Theresa watched Sarah talking with bravado. She stayed quiet.
Leah said, “But Charlie, with you around, we can rest assured. Jimmy seems to be quite afraid of you.” Thinking of
how Charlie managed to overpower Jimmy yesterday, Leah secretly felt impressed. It’s just a pity that…such an
excellent man had been occupied by Theresa.
Charlie listened to them and said, “How you are doing has nothing to do with me. All I care about
is Theresa.”
