"The butler?"
The man in the black robes turned to look at an old man in a suit hobbling onto the balcony on his cane. Mister Paul followed

The butler said, "This is the Lord's order, Dark Messenger. The Lord wants you to stop and go back to see him immediately. He has
svery important things to tell you."
"Why now? Didn't the Lord tellto get rid of him?"
"That was the past. The Lord has changed his mind," the old man said calmly. "Are you not willing to listen to the Lord's word
anymore, Dark Messenger?"
"Of course not. | would never dare." The man in the black robes fell to his knees and bowed. "I'll return to Light Valley this very
second."
He leaped off the balcony the next second, disappearing into the night. The old man watched him leave before turning to leave
himself. Wilbur called out, "Hang on! Wait a minute!"
The old man stopped in his tracks, turning around to look at Wilbur. "Is anything else the matter, Mister Penn?"
Wilbur asked, "Why did you save me?"
