Chapter 518
After watching two movies, it was getting dark outside Charlie asked Emily, “do you feel better?”
Emily nodded with a smile, “Much better. Your parents must be worried. You should go home
The rain had stopped.
Charlie agreed, TII take you home first.”
Emily got into the car and Charlie sat next to her, watching the colorful lights on the streets
As long as Charlie was around, it seemed like all of Emily’s worries could be resolved.
When they reached Emily’s apartment, she asked worriedly, “Your parents won’t be mad at you for
coming home late, right?
Charlie laughed, “Am I a kid that I’d get punished for coming home late? Just go inside and call me if
you need anything. Don’t cry alone anymore”
Emily felt a bit embarrassed, not daring to investigate the strange feelings in her heart whether it was

She wanted to say thank you, but saying it too much would seem strange.

“Okay!” Emily nodded, got out of the car, waved goodbye, and said, “Be careful on the road, and Happy

“Happy Thanksgiving!” the man smiled.
Emily stood there, watching the car start and the window slowly rise, covering the man’s face. She
didn’t turn to go inside until the

Their backgrounds and experiences are vastly different, totally from two different worlds. Yet, they

There was a table set up in the yard, and Estelle was chatting with her grandfather as they enjoyed

Old Mr. Jarvis turned to look at his granddaughter, and her pink blouse and light gray skirt made her
look even more pretty under the moonlight.
She used to not care about her appearance, wearing T-shirts and cargo pants every day. Now, her
clothing choices were more
refined
He couldn’t help but ask, “Is this outfit something that Lamont boy bought for you?”
Estelle glanced down at her clothes and nodded, “Yes!”

Old Mr. Jarvis nodded, “He’s taking good care of you. I’ll give him credit for that.”
Old Wade laughed, “Young Master Lamont is considerate and devoted, a good candidate for a
husband”
Old Mr. Jarvis took a sip of his tea and said, “The two of you didn’t even have a wedding ceremony
before. Now that you’re back together, you can’t go on like this. You should have a proper wedding
first”
Estelle knew that in her grandfather’s eyes, it wasn’t enough to be just like this. Only after the wedding
could they be considered truly married.
She hesitated and said, “Grandpa, I haven’t graduated yet, there’s no rush”
“What do you mean there’s no rush? What is the status between the two of you now?” Old Mr. Jarvis
frowned, “Is he still unwilling to marry you?”
“No, we agreed to consider marriage after I graduate”
Old Mr. Jarvis questioned, “What? Does he have other plans?”
Estelle was speechless
