Chapter 484
Emily swiftly consumed a series of drinks, her cheeks turning rosy. She exclaimed with enthusiasm,
“Obviously, it’s because all of you are here to celebrate my birthday with me!”
Charlie’s expression softened, and he responded, “I understand you’re excited, but there’s no need to
behave as if our intention is to make you overly intoxicated!” The atmosphere slowly loosened up, and
everyone laughed and chatted, just like they used to do at their gatherings in the Royal Mansion.
Halfway through dinner, Emily started to get a little tipsy and headed to the restroom, with Estelle
following behind her.
In the hallway, Josiah and Amiee walked side by side, their expressions neutral, giving the impression
of strangers to those who didn’t know them well.
After their previous date, the two had officially started dating. When the weekend arrived, Mrs. James
had encouraged Josiah to ask Amiee out. He waited until this afternoon, with Mrs. James watching
closely, to call her and invite her to dinner.

They met outside the restaurant, not exchanging a single word, going through the motions of the entire
date.
Josiah spotted Estelle ahead and his face darkened. “Go ahead to the private room first; I need to take
care of something.”
Without waiting for Amiee, he hurriedly approached Estelle.
Meanwhile, Emily excused herself to the bathroom, and Estelle headed to the counter to get some
yogurt, hoping it would help sober Emily up.
As soon as she entered the counter area, a cold voice came from behind her, “What are you doing
here?”
Estelle turned her head to see Josiah, and completely ignored him.
Feeling neglected, Josiah purposely provoked Estelle, “How can a poor student like you afford to eat
here? Are you spending Jonah’s money, or are you here with him?”
Estelle waved the yogurt in her hand, “Want a sip?”
Josiah frowned, “What do you mean?”
“Help you sober up!”
Josiah was caught off guard, and a sudden shadow fell over his face. “Let me remind you, it would be
wise for you to understand your boundaries and keep your distance from Jonah,” he warned sternly.
Estelle let out a light, amused laugh. “And what if I choose not to?” she retorted.
Josiah stared at her incredulously, his anger draining the color from his face. “Are you–openly admitting
that you’re leveraging your tutoring role with Henson to manipulate and seduce Jonah?”
Estelle remained calm, “Yes, I admit it, what do you want to do about it?”
Josiah didn’t understand how Estelle could be so arrogant. He narrowed his eyes and sneered, “Don’t
think just because you’re a girl I won’t hit you. And don’t get cocky; Jonah still likes Yvonne. You’re just
a fling to him! If you were smart, you’d get the hell away from him right now. But if you hurt Yvonne, I
won’t let you off easy!”

Estelle was about to say something when she noticed a girl emerging from behind Josiah, her face
filled with surprise.
Leaning against the doorframe, Amiee mockingly remarked, “Well, well, I never would have guessed
you were here to play defender for Yvonne!”
Josiah turned around, his brow furrowed. “Why are you here? Didn’t I tell you to wait in the room?”
Estelle’s eyes widened in realization, realizing that they both knew each other.
Amiee’s expression remained icy as she responded, “I thought you hurried over here after seeing the
person you loved, but it turns out you’re fighting Yvonne’s battles on her behalf. She doesn’t even know
you’re defending her!”
Confused, Josiah looked at Amiee and asked, “What does that have to do with you?”
“Nothing!” Amiee said coldly, “I just think you’re a bit of an idiot, sticking your nose in someone else’s
business. Yvonne isn’t even worried, so what gives you the right to stand up for her?”
Josiah glared at her, “Who are you with, Amiee?”
Amiee looked up at Estelle, then waved, “Hi, Estelle!”
Estelle smiled, “Long time no see!”
Josiah was in shock!
No freaking wonder!
