Chapter 385
“It seems like she’s never played basketball before!” Magdalen turned to Estelle and asked, “Have you
ever played”
Estelle shook her head.
Still not convinced, Erik called Kevin over to brag about Estelle’s accomplishment.
People nearby playing games couldn’t believe their ears.
Estelle was nonchalant, not understanding what the big deal was about scoring a basket.
Their fuss caught the attention of others. Josiah asked Carson, “What are they talking about over
there? It’s so lively!”
Carson laughed, “It seems that Ms. Macclain broke the basketball shooting record. They don’t believe
she never practiced before and are trying to interrogate her.”
“Broke the record?” Josiah sneered, “How could I believe that?”
He was already biased against Estelle, so he walked over to the shooting machine, grabbed a

“What’s the big deal?” Josiah scoffed, “Breaking a record is a piece of cake!”
Magdalen sneered, “If you’re so confident, Joshy, why don’t you have a little competition with Ella?”
Estelle glanced at Magdalen, signaling her not to provoke Josiah.
Josiah hated how Magdalen called him “Joshy” as it sounded like a spoiled brat. He raised an eyebrow
provocatively, “Alright, I’ll compete with Ms. Macclain and see how good she really is!”
Erik excitedly said, “Estelle, show him!”
Estelle remained silent. Josiah looked at her and asked sarcastically, “Are you scared? Or was the
machine broken just now?”
Estelle walked up to the machine and turned to him, “Shall we start now?”
Josiah’s gaze shifted, “Let’s make a bet!”
Magdalen snorted, “Alright, if you lose, you’ll call Ella ‘granny’ every time you see her!”
Josiah’s face darkened, “You’re so sure?”
Magdalen smiled provocatively, “Are you scared?”
“Stop joking around!” Estelle gave Magdalen a look and asked Josiah, “How do we determine the
winner?”
At this point, everyone in the room heard that Josiah and Estelle would compete, abandoning Yvonne’s
singing and gathering around.
Jonathan stood behind the crowd, staring at Estelle’s delicate face with dark eyes.
Yvonne came over and whispered to him, “What’s wrong with Josiah? It seems like he’s targeting

Estelle!”
Charlie glanced at Jonathan, his expression heavy with implication.
Surrounded by everyone, Josiah thought for a moment and grinned, “Here’s the deal: If I lose, I’ll be the
servant of Ms. Macclain and do whatever she asks. If I win, Ms. Macclain will become the
servant of Yvonne and do whatever she asks. How about that?”
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmYvonne frowned and said, “Josiah, why drag me into your bet with Ms. Macclain? Regardless of who
wins or loses, I won’t make anyone my servant.”
Josiah provocatively looked at Estelle, “What do you say?”
Magdalen sneered, “Estella is not scared.”
Estelle nodded faintly, “Deal.”
Yvonne shook her head, “Josiah hasn’t changed since he was a kid!”
Charlie laughed and said, “He’ll grow up after a few setbacks.”
Yvonne glanced at Jonathan and asked, “Jonathan, who do you think will win?”
Jonathan’s face was undisturbed as he calmly answered, “Estelle.”
An odd feeling flashed through Yvonne’s heart as she jokingly asked, “You trust Ms. Macclain that,
much?”
Charlie replied, “You don’t know, Estelle is Henson’s archery teacher. She’s incredibly accurate, and
Henson admires her.”
“No wonder!” Yvonne glanced at Jonathan and smiled, “Now I won’t worry. I was truly afraid of Estelle
having to become my servant if she lost.”
As Yvonne spoke, the competition had already begun.
