Chapter 1505
Jason glanced at Sophia in silence.
In the quiet car, a low, slightly melancholic voice slowly chimed in and started to sing.
“An empty street, an empty house
A hole inside my heart
I’m all alone, and the rooms are getting smaller
I wonder how, I wonder why
I wonder where they are
The days we had, the songs we sang together
So, I say a little prayer
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtAnd hope my dreams will take me there
Where the skies are blue
To see you once again, my love
Overseas, from coast to coast
To find a place I love the most
Where the fields are green
To see you once again…”
Sophia gazed out the window, softly singing along to the song, her mind drifting back to the days when she had a
crush on Robin Ziegler.
She turned her head towards Jason and asked, “Mr. Gilder, do you have someone you like?”
Jason’s grip on the steering wheel tightened. His face was expressionless as he asked, “Why do you ask?”
“When I was crushing on Robin, I used to chat with you every day and even asked you to give me advice on how to
woo him. If there’s someone you like, I can help you get them,” Sophia said, her face serious “Of course, except for
Estelle. She already has a boyfriend. We can’t be home wreckers.”
Jason frowned slightly “I don’t have feelings for Estelle. You’re all the same to me.”
“Really?” Sophia didn’t believe him. “You were clearly upset when Jonathan Lamont showed up. I could tell!”
“That’s because he hurt Estelle once. If Robin hurt you, I wouldn’t be happy either.”
“Robin would never hurt me!” Sophia retorted immediately.
Jason’s expression was cold, and he pressed his lips together, remaining silent.
“So, if it’s not Estelle that you like, who is it? As long as they’re single, I promise to help you score!”
“No need. There’s no one I like.”
“Really?” Sophia seemed to have thought of something and asked in surprise, “Mr. Gilder, you’re not gay, are you?”

own love life. You don’t need to worry about mine!”
Sophia simply responded with an “Oh,” turned her head away, rested her chin on her hand, and continued
humming along to the music from the
CD
As the car pulled into Sophia’s apartment complex, she yawned, unbuckled her seat belt, and got out of the car
“Goodbye, Mr. Gilder!”
She waved her hand, opened the car door, and got out, never looking back
Jason’s car stopped downstairs. He sat in the car waiting, only driving away when he saw the lights on the seventh
floor come on
The gentle male voice in the car continued to sing, but he felt a little imitated and turned off the music.
The singing abruptly ended
