"Wait until | get discharged and go home." Theo kissed my forehead.

I sniffed. "I'm terrified."

| nodded gently. "You must keep your promise."

As | did not sleep well in the hospital, Theo insisted o n getting discharged the second day. | could not win the

argument in the end and submitted to my fate. We went htogether.

We bumped into Quinn at the front door of the house. She was directing the driver to move the luggage.

It seemed that the police had stopped investigating her and she was free to move around now.

| walked up to her and said, "Thank you."
