Chapter 43: Meeting the couple
Grey had been going through the reports and files for over hours. He realized that the figures were
messed up
There was nothing in the company account and few stocks of surveillance cameras were left. The
materials were also little in quantity. It was only for a few more weeks before the SU world would crash
Grey made a call to the accountant’s office. “Hello, see me in the office right away?” He ordered and
hung up without waiting for a response.
A soft knock sounded on the door almost immediately.
Grey sat up. “Yes, come in.”
Maria walked inside. “Hi, boss. It’s closing time. I’m leaving but I decided to see you before I do so

Before Grey could say something, another knock sounded on the door John stepped inside the room in
a tailored suit. He was almost like Grey except for his stubbles and the fact that Grey was the tallest.
“You wanted to see me?”
Grey nodded briefly and picked a file. He stretched it out to him “Goods of 5 million dollars were used
but only one million dollars came back into the company account How is that so? Does a form of magic
work here?”
John suppressed a shock as he took the file and did as if he was looking through it
Grey watched his movement for a moment “Don’t bother! You are fired, John.”
Maria’s eyes went wide in shock.
* Please, don’t sack me,” John pleaded.
“Get out of my office now or I will bundle you out,” Grey muttered thickly. He was getting annoyed
already How could they mess his company up?
John sighed and placed the file on the table,
“What did you just do? Grey asked quickly, startling John for a moment. Please, take the file with you. I
have no use for it

Maria looked back at Grey. “What are we supposed to do now?”
Grey regarded her for a moment. “Nothing. I will need a secretary obviously. So, an interview should
commence. The post of the accountant and the secretary is vacant,” he explained and stood up. He
was getting late for the cinema already.
“But what about the loans?” Maria said quickly before Grey would open the door. ” We need money to
make a lot of surveillance cameras. We will be damned if we lose this client,” she complained.
Grey turned to look at her again.” There will be no loans, I will handle it. Just make an estimation of the
amount we will need by tomorrow and let’s talk then,” he finished in a voice that left no room for more
words
Maria was shocked. How would he handle it?
Grey gou inside his car and headed in the direction of the address that Aphrodite sent to him.
Grey eventually pulled up in the parking lot.
Stepping out of his car and the first person he saw was Nora. Actually, she was looking right at him as
well, with some kind of surprised expression maybe because of the car that he came out of. Well, the
car has a way of hiding its potential.
Grey ignored her and walked towards the entrance of the cinema.
“Look at who this is.” Seth laughed suddenly, behind him.
Grey ignored his remark and entered the big building and Seth with Nora came right behind him,
The security was checking people in with their tickets and since Grey had none, he decided to inform
Aphrodite that he was around.
“The boy is running away.” Seth laughed again.
“He grew up real well,” Nora added quickly
They were close now and Grey knew that they would meet up with him soon since he was still going to
wait for Aphrodite
Aphrodite didn’t pick up. So, he decided to text her.
“Longest time Grey,” Nora teased as she stood in front of Grey, her hand entwined with Seth’s arm.
Grey looked up at her. “Yeah, long time, Nora.”
“You have changed. You seemed to be enjoying your life with Robinson. Seth told me you got married
to Avery.” Nora narrated.
“Yes,” Seth blurted quickly. “Avery does everything for him. i bet she was the one that got this suit for
him.”
Grey looked at Seth.” I got this suit with my money,” he protested
“Sure, the money Avery gave you,” Seth laughed even harder
Nora seemed annoyed by Seth’s explanation.” I seriously didn’t know you were this desperate! How
could you feed off your wife? I’m sure she got you the ride you came with” She accused.
“Who’s more desperate here?” Grey was looking at Nora now. You left me for Seth remember?”
Nora shook her head slowly.” You are missing something. Girls aren’t supposed to be with a guy like
you, But we can be with guys like Seth,” she explained and clutched even closer to Seth.
Grey didn’t frown or laugh. So, his face did something between the two. “That’s the explanation?”
*Alfred won’t always help you. Don’t rely on him and oh! I remember you got sacked already!” He
revealed. He sadly shook his head. “Life is bad for you.”
Shock took over Nora’s face for a moment. ” Alfred fired you?” She couldn’t believe it and for some
reason unknown to Grey, she seemed happy about it. “Guess your life is still messed up. what are you
doing here by the way?”
A message popped up on his phone and it was from Aphrodite. She was almost at the cinema.
Suddenly, the door of the cinema opened and people walked out of the hall.
Nora looked back at the people. ‘Is something wrong?”
“No, the round must be over. Grey must be here for the second movie.” He regarded Grey’s expression
for a moment I’m going to buy the full hall space. You should go home, you won’t be able to enter the
cinema hall today,” he acknowledged
* You will regret it. Seth and you.” Greg pointed at Nora. “You will regret ever leaving me for Seth.”
Seth laughed and Nora joined in
The people had left now. So, Seth beckoned one of the security closer to him

about Alfred’s? You are just too desperate
“I didn’t steal anything I’ve never stolen anything,” Grey defended himself but the security men were
already moving closer to him
Seth smiled with pride “Trashes as you belong in the trash,’ Seth remarked
What do you think you are doing?” A thick Voice voiced out suddenly, the moment the men were about
to push Grey out of the lobby
They all craned their neck toward the path of the voice. Every eye went wide in shock
“It’s the CEO one of the men exclaimed
“What is Luciano doing in the cinema? I didn’t see him walk in? The other commented and took a step
backward as Luciano got nearer. It seemed like the men were scared of Luciano
Seth hasn’t seen Luciano before but he has heard a lot about him. He would make sure to impress him
because Luciano was one of the big wigs in society
The worst thing was just that Luciano doesn’t get impressed easily.
“What is all this commotion about?” His deep accentuated voice reminded Grey a lot about Gregory
This guy was causing trouble here and we want to escort him out of here but he’s even being
persistent.” one of the men explained.
Grey looked over at Luciano. “I’m Grey Fox And what he said is absolutely lies. I didn’t cause any
trouble and_
