of tears.

“It’s okay! There might be more than one of these necklaces; maybe it’s just the same.”

“There’s only one in the world! The auctioneer just said it’s the one Thaddeus gave me! How could he

be fooled by such an excuse?”

At this point, both mother and daughter were swamped with various thoughts.

Acacia was thinking about how to explain everything to Thaddeus.

Una was wondering why the necklace she sold to the pawnshop was here, and it was donated under

the name of the K Group.
