Noah came out of his office to go to the Lu Lijun office, which was empty. Not minding, Noah put the file on Lu Lijun's table, and just then, Lu Lijun entered the office and didn't look in the merry form that he had these days.

"What's troubling you now?" Noah asked.

Lu Lijun went towards his chair as he commented before sitting, "Isn't there any way to keep your wife with you all the time?"

"Stop acting like a typical newly married whose wife has gone to her parent's home," Noah commented and put forward the file to Lu Lijun, that he kept on the table a while ago. "Go through it."

Lu Lijun nodded and said, "That's the case."

"That means your wife is trying to get rid of you," Noah laughed a bit.

Lu Lijun glared at Noah, and Noah said again, "Well, you know, you are kinda...what's the word?...umm... Clingy."

"I don't mind being clingy for my wife," Lu Lijun admitted.

"May God bless such a wife from a husband like you," Noah commented and continued, "Seems like you don't plan to return home tonight as the wife is gone to her parents."

"If you are missing your man, you can leave," Lu Lijun countered.

"Who is who's man? I'll get a woman as I'm the man," Noah mumbled under his breath.

Jiang Yuyan went to her parents' home. Her parents wanted to talk something with her, and they asked her to return home. Moreover, she wanted to stay away from Lu Lijun. She was worried she might hurt him somehow after losing her patience in front of his stubbornness, and she didn't wish to do so.

He had an important project coming in, and she wished him to do his best and focus on it. He worked hard till now, and she didn't want to be the reason for his failure. She managed to keep up with him till now and needed to do the same for some more time.

"Our parents asked only once, and you are already here. Since when have you become so obedient?" Jiang Yang asked, looking at his sister, who was standing on the balcony, looking at the dark sky.

"They are here after so long..."

"Is that stubborn guy still troubling you? If so, then tell me," said Jiang Yang.

Jiang Yuyan cleared her throat. "Not really. He is busy working in the office."

"Good to know he is at least busy with something instead of creating troubles for you. If he does it again, just twist his ear tightly to get him back to his senses."

Jiang Yuyan smiled at it as it was impossible to imagine it even. "I couldn't dare do it when he was a kid, and now he is…" she paused as she remembered Lijun's words saying he was an adult.

"Grown-up," Jiang Yang said.

She nodded, "Hmm, he is not the same kid now."

"Do you want to tell me something?" he asked.

Jiang Yuyan shook her head.

Not insisting, Jiang Yang patted her shoulder. "You should rest now. It's late."

"After some time," she replied, and Jiang Yang left her alone.

Standing by the gallery railing, while her mind was blank, not knowing what to think about, Jiang Yuyan continued to be there for a while. Looking around, her sight followed the vehicles running on the roads ahead and then toward one white car parked opposite to the building on the other side of a wide multi-lane road.

She was high up, so she was not sure if it was Lu Lijun's car, but from last time, she was sure he parked his car at the same place which was gone later. She needed to make sure. She turned around and left the gallery. She went to her brother's room and entered without knocking on it. As the lights were off, she thought Jiang Yang was sleeping.

"What do you want?" She heard her brother's lazy voice.

Clearing her throat, Jiang Yuyan spoke hesitantly, "I was getting bored so..thought to…."

"What are you searching for?" he asked her, staring at her in the dim light of the room.

"Binoculars!" she replied.

"It's on that shelf," he pointed towards one side of the room. "Use it carefully."

Nodding, Jiang Yuyan got the binoculars and went to the gallery. She adjusted the binoculars and focussed on the white car. The car model was the same as Lu Lijun's car, but she was not sure if it really was his car as she couldn't see the number plate on it. The angle from above didn't allow it.

She looked around, but there was no sign of anyone around, so she thought that was not Lu Lijun's car and gave out a sigh of relief. She was about to take the binocular away from her eyes, but just then, the car door opened, and someone stepped out.

She focussed and realized the familiar figure. She gulped, praying it should not be Lu Lijun. Just then, the man stood leaning at the closed door of the car and looked up. Her eyes left wide open, and she stepped back in shock. The binocular in hand fell on the gallery's floor, and she too couldn't stop herself from missing a step and tripping on the floor.

"Gosh! Is he for real?" She mumbled, keeping her hands on her chest, trying to calm her faster-beating heart, and getting hold of herself after this shock.

She stood up and went towards the railing to peek out, not letting herself visible to him. "She could see the car and the man, who was Lu Lijun, were still there, and she moved back.

"Did he see me?" she mumbled. "Not possible. I am high up for him to see me here. He sure didn't see me." She concluded and felt relieved, but the next moment her thoughts troubled her again. "But why did he looked up at the same time? Did he really see me?...Argg!"

Just then, her sight followed the binoculars and on the floor and noticed that something was off with it. She kneeled and picked it up only to get two pieces in her hands instead of a single piece of the whole binocular.

"It can't be. Brother is gonna kill me," she said, feeling like crying. It was the precious one that Jiang Yang's best friend from the USA gifted him, and he always kept it safe. He once told her why it was special and how it was the only piece available.

She frowned, looking at the broken binocular. "Why is he here? This happened just because of him. If not for him...."

Collecting the broken pieces, Jiang Yuyan returned to her room, not daring to peek out of her gallery even once.

"Let him stand there. I didn't ask him to be there," she mumbled and lay in her bed as she continued to stare at the ceiling. Even in the silence and in the dim light of the room, the sleep couldn't come to her as she couldn't help but worry about Lu Lijun.

"He has an important project to work on. He should rest instead of wasting his energy and time. Should I check on him again and ask him to return?" The next moment her worry changed into something else, getting rid of her worry with a slight frown. "He is grown up to be able to care for himself. None of my concern. He claims to be an adult, then let him be."

Even after trying for a long time, her mind couldn't stop worrying, and she finally went to the gallery. "If he is still there, I'll go there and ask him to leave."

She slowly peeked out of the gallery, down towards the road, and to her surprise, the white car was not there. Her sight wandered around to check if the car was somewhere else, but it wasn't the case.

"Seems like he is gone. Good!" Saying she went to her room but still somewhere felt worried about him.
