"This went a lot smoothly than I expected, thanks to you guys," Clark said. "We don't have much time, so I will tell you where you can find us. From the starting region, you keep going east and after crossing a certain man-made river and a mountain thirty kilometers from the river, you will find our community and many other guild camps. Ask for the guild master Rick, I will wait for you."
After they heard that, both parts were forcefully teleported to the place they had been before accepting the mission. Jake wondered about what he heard. It seemed that the newcomers appear in the same region, but not exactly close to each other… but why the veterans don't keep their eyes on that region when they know that?

Jake sighed. Not only did he gain a weapon and a skill that would be essentially useless for him, but he also gained a class… while the status points were welcome, they would go to the wrong places. Still, Jake couldn't complain since he got lucky more than a few times as well. Lana and Louise, on the other hand, gained magic staves that would help them, so Jake couldn't trade the bow for anything.

"Putting that aside, what is the plan now?" Lana asked.
"Let's rest for a while to clear our heads before anything," Jake said.
"That is good, I want to bathe in the river again, and do you mind leaving us for a moment?" Lana asked.
"Don't worry, I won't stare too much," Jake replied.
"That is what I get from being polite…" Lana said and then face palmed.
Jake was just joking. He left the area and then looked for some fruits in the trees, but instead of getting them the normal way, he called them by using Flames of Wrath. That was a good training, and thanks to that, he also noticed that the flames don't spread, and they only burn exactly what Jake wants. It was fueled by his rage, after all, so it made sense.
When Jake found a grove large enough to hide the things inside it, he decided to replant his herbs. While it was pretty far away from their next destination, it was good exactly because of that. He wasn't planning on staying there for long.
"I need to obtain the alchemist class… I am sure potions made by an alchemist are way better," Jake nodded to himself when he finished his task.
After half an hour, Jake returned and noticed that the girls had finished cleaning themselves. He thought that they would complain more than a little bit pretty soon, but it seemed that they were getting used to this new lifestyle.
"What do you think?" Lana asked. "Since I am the leader of this party, I will decide our movements after we hear your opinions."
"I am relieved, I am sure that my life couldn't be in better hands," Jake said.

"The fact that we will to cross a mountain seems like a problem," Louise said while looking toward the place Clark mentioned. "If they had some scouts there, they will see us approaching from miles away, not to mention, we could be easily ambushed in any parts of the mountain, even if we try to circle around it."
As expected, Louise still had a persecution complex. She was at a level even higher than Jake. That being said, she had a point. Clark might have revealed all that because it would be weird to ambush them if they head directly toward their camp.
"Did you notice it?" Jake asked. "They never ran out of mana, no wonder they didn't need someone to be a front line while they attack."
"Maybe someone of them has the power to restore their mana," Lana said. "By the way, you two are way too suspicious over others."
"You are the type who would listen to anyone as long as they give you candy, right?" Jake asked while he furrowed his eyebrows.
"What is that supposed to mean?" Lana asked, visibly annoyed.
"Maybe Lana is right…" Louise tilted her head slightly.
"Nah, that is impossible, based on our experience, even innate skills need to level up to become stronger," Jake said. "There is no way someone could have become so strong with such innate skill in three months of the game."
It was hard to measure Lana's skill since, until now, she always used Heal non-stop when she wanted. As for Jake and Louise, their skills truly needed to level up to become stronger. When she started the game, Louise barely could steal any mana from spells of slimes. Still, now she could decrease by half the spells of bosses, and she could even charge multiple magic projectiles at a time. As for Jake, he was incredibly durable, to the point where he could focus only on strength and still tank bosses' attacks.
"To be honest, I want to check things there, but I think it would be better if I go alone," Jake said. "I am faster, after all."
"Still, there is the chance that they won't do anything if you go alone, and that will be a tactic to lure us out later," Louise said.
"It seems we will stay here for a while wondering about the possibility of traps wherever we put our feet…" Lana frowned
