Chapter 33

So, Yulia slowly opened her eyes and noticed that Skylar had placed his thumb on her lips when Lola

was not looking before pretending to kiss her.

He transferred a kiss!

Yulia was stunned by this.

She never expected him to not even touch her when she was worried about him taking advantage of her.

“What’s the matter? Are you disappointed?” Skylar teased.

Yulia blushed and said, “No way! Stop spouting nonsense now!”

“Why are you so flustered then?” Skylar teased.

Upon hearing that, Yulia decided to ignore him as she said, “Say goodbye to your father now, Lola.”

Skylar chuckled and left while Lola looked reluctant to watch him leave.

Meanwhile in the jeep.

Dianne handed Skylar two very intricate looking boxes and said, “Here’s the necklaces that you wanted,

boss.”

So, Skylar opened the boxes to take a look. They were none other than the two most eye-catching

necklaces at the exhibition earlier. They were the Star of Cullinan and the Red Dust.

Apparently, he had told Dianne to buy them earlier. Since it was rare for him to find out it was something

Yulia liked, he would obviously get it for her.

As for the other necklace known as the Red Dust though, he had planned to give Naomi the necklace as

a wedding gift tomorrow.

“Hey boss, I noticed Nichiolas entering the same building before you arrived. I have reason to believe

that he’s planning to do something to Madam. Do you want me to do something about it?” Dianne asked.

“Nicholas dropped by again?” Skylar asked as his gaze turned cold and said, “I want you to follow him.

You can ignore him if he was just ranting nonsense to Yulia. However, if he dares to lay a finger on her,

you have my permission to kill without mercy.”

“Yes sir!” Dianna replied before getting out of the jeep and disappearing into the night.

After that, Skylar drove his way back to Ocean Hill.

Meanwhile at Yulia’s home.

While Yulia was watching cartoons with Lola, her doorbell rang.

“Has daddy returned?” Lola, who was starting to get sleepy, shot up excitedly to open the door.

“Daddy, daddy, have you come back to sleep with mommy and I?” The little girl ran excitedly to open the

door.

Yulia followed behind and asked, “Did he forget something?”

However, she was stunned as soon as she said that.

That was because Skylar was not at the door. In fact it was none other than Nicholas, who had a conflict

with them again earlier that day.

Lola’s smile faded away the instant she saw Nicholas. She looked disappointed instead.

Yulia cautiously asked, “What are you doing here at this hour?”

When he felt the difference she treated him and Skyl

It seemed that he had pursued Yulia for a very long time then. However, not only did he never touch her

hand, he was not even allowed into her home. However, Skylar, who he deemed useless only had to

spend a couple of days with her to be treated so specially. He felt that Skylar had not only been allowed

to stay in her living room, he might even be allowed into her bedroom too. What felt more insulting to him

was how unbothered Yulia seemed after knowing that Skylar had a mistress. He was displeased when

he thought about how Skylar was blessed with the company of two different women.

He had decided that he absolutely had to sleep with Yulia and would toss her aside after he got bored of

her. He wanted her to feel what it felt to be abandoned.

However, as hostile as his intentions were, he did not let anything slip as he forced a sincere look and

said, “I am here to apologize, Yulia. I was being too impulsive earlier and said some horrible things to

you. I hope you won’t take those words to heart.”

Since Skylar was absent that night, Yulia dared not butt heads with him, so she nodded and said, “Sure. I

will pretend nothing happened earlier today.”

However, before Nicholas could feel too happy, Yulia continued, “You can leave now and we will have

absolutely nothing to do with each other anymore in the future.”

Yulia shut the door immediately before Nicholas could say anything else.

Meanwhile at the mansion on Ocean Hill.

Skylar was beaming with joy while he sat on the couch.

It turned out that Dianne had told him everything Yulia had said to Nicholas earlier. This made him

incredibly happy.

It seemed that he was starting to have feelings for Yulia in the short two days they spent together.

Moreover, he could clearly tell that his feelings had nothing to do with the guilt he felt before.

Soon, the following day came. It was none other than Naomi’s wedding day.

Skylar had arrived at the Fuller family home very early in the morning.

Their home was decorated with all kinds of wedding decorations while plenty of guests were present. It

was an incredibly lively scene.

Both Winona and Nathaniel were incredibly busy at the moment.

“Do you need help with anything, dad?” Skylar asked as soon as he entered.

Nathaniel hugged his shoulders and said, “Your mother and I are fine here. Oh, Naomi is in her room

with her friends. You can ask them if they need help with anything.”

“Hey, is that even a good idea? I mean, I’m a man and they’re a group of girls though.”

Skylar wanted to refuse him. However, Nathaniel whispered, “Remember the person I told you about last

time? Rufus’ daughter is here, so you can come up with some excuse to get closer to her… You know,

aside from Naomi, she’s the prettiest in the group!”
