Edgar pursed his thin lips and strode out of the restaurant without saying a word.

Tim had no choice but to call his subordinates to let them go.

Lucy and Mr. Jameson were tied up in a dark room, shivering.

She had never dreamed Grace would be familiar with someone as powerful as Edgar, and her jealousy

of Grace deepened.

Grace was just an orphan raised in an orphanage. On her resume, she seemed to be divorced.

How could such a woman deserve the help of many top men in Frant City?

But at this moment, she was more afraid than jealous.

She was afraid of how Edgar would deal with them.

Lucy was overjoyed. “It’s a deal.”

Lucy blushed and pouted, “You’re so annoying!”

Lucy drove to the company in high spirits.

Before the meeting, Grace coincidentally found herself in the same elevator as Lucy, heading upstairs.

Lucy was sure that Grace was knocked out by the drug last night. And she thought it was highly likely

that Mr. Wesley and Mr. Lewis succeeded. But they were sent to jail by Edgar before they got to send

her the video.

She believed that was what happened. Therefore, the way she looked at Grace with even more

disdain.

She didn’t understand how Grace, a toy, was so confident in front of her.

With this thought in mind, she lifted her chin proudly, approached Grace, and delivered her words with

a sarcastic tone. “Oh, Director Salen, I’d be simply delighted to be your friend. Sadly, it seems you’re

on the verge of losing your job. I’m afraid our chance to work together in the future will be quite slim.”

Grace sneered and glanced at her as if she was looking at a fool. “Really?”

Grace went out first.

Looking at her back, Lucy gritted her teeth with hatred. “I’d like to see how you cry later!”

Angle Group had a meeting every month, mainly to carry out the follow-up work plan for each group.

Lucy suddenly raised her hand to interrupt and questioned, “When did this happen? Why didn’t I know

about it at all? And what we discussed last night was clearly–”

Grace continued, “What did we discuss yesterday? With whom?”

Lucy was speechless. Mr. Wesley and Mr. Lewis were inexplicably arrested last night. If she
