Chapter 1221: Familiar Faces!
Martin noticed the curious expression in Magnus' eyes, but he ignored it and waited for his turn to arrive.
Since Magnus was one step ahead, he was the first to get his turn. Buying the beast was only the first step, and what was to come next was the most significant and difficult step, so before starting it, Magnus took a deep breath and calmed himself down.
The next moment, he placed the card in the card compartment and put his hands on the respective section. The next moment, Magnus found himself in a different environment.

Aakesh saw Martin entering the beast room, but since there were customers in line, he didn't focus on that. Soon after, all the customers had left the queue.
Tap! Tap! Tap!
Only a minute had passed since Aakesh began his relaxation session when he heard the sound of footsteps coming from outside the store.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtAakesh opened his eyes and turned in that direction. The next moment, a familiar face greeted his sight.
Outside the store, there were two customers, and both of them were familiar to Aakesh. They were none other than George and Evelyn, two of the oldest customers of the store in the Primal Dimension.
"We are finally here," Evelyn commented with a reminiscing sigh as she looked at the building in front of her.
George's cultivation was intermediate Divine Lord while Evelyn's cultivation was peak Divine Lord. It seemed impossible since Maria was still only at the Divine Transformation level.
What made George and Evelyn reach such a high level was Panagea. They didn't ascend earlier, but in the time of Primal Dimension, it had only been a few years since they left.
After Maria ascended, she disbanded the Skylord organization, but since Evelyn was the second in charge, there were things still under her control.
Using those assets, she grew her level and similarly helped George. Evelyn was also the only adventurer other than Aakesh to cross Level 310.
Once the adventurers reached level 250 in Panagea, they could exchange that level of energy, which would automatically make them an early Divine Transformation.
The levels between 250 and 265 refer to the Divine Transformation cultivators. The levels ranging from 266 to 285 were for Divine Being cultivators, while levels between 286 and 315 referred to Divine Lord cultivators.
Since Evelyn was level 313, her cultivation in Sacred Dimension was equivalent to peak Divine Lord, but still far from reaching the bottleneck.
Exchanging these power levels into reality didn't come at an easy cost due to the outrageous exchange rate. All the assets George and Evelyn had earned in Panagea over more than ten thousand years were exhausted. If they were to enter again, they would start with nothing, like a newbie adventurer, except their high power level.
As George and Evelyn were looking at the store, they simultaneously turned to their left. Their direction was a building some distance away.
George and Evelyn then looked at each other and saw the smile on their faces since they sensed familiar energy coming from that direction.
George and Evelyn then walked in that direction since it had been several millennials since they saw each other.
Inside her house, Maria was meditating when she sensed two powerful presences at her door. She didn't have to worry about it, as a familiar pressure emanated from her.
A smile immediately spread across her face as she came down the stairs and opened the door. The next moment, two familiar faces with whom she once shared a residence appeared in front of her.
"Leader!"
"Leader!"
George and Evelyn called out and bowed immediately when they saw Maria on the other side of the door.
When Evelyn gave Maria the suggestion to start the organization, Evelyn was a Heavenly Monarch, while Maria was only a Nascent Soul cultivator. But when Maria ascended, she had surpassed the two of them in strength by a long margin.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmAt first, Evelyn played an immense role in the continuity of the organization since Maria was a weak girl. But as Maria matured and got stronger, she took on more responsibility and started acting like the leader rather than just the title bearer.
"I am no leader; you don't need to call me that," Maria commented, calling the two of them inside.
The residence wasn't that big since she needed to be calculative when it came to expenses. It seemed slightly overcrowded when the three of them were present at the same time in the hall.
It was a different building than the earlier one. As the store's popularity grew, the same was true for the rent. Maria could no longer afford to live there due to the plans she had made, so she decided to move out into a smaller building that was slightly farther from the store compared to the previous residence.
As for buying the land, the city administration had prohibited the sale of any land in the range of ten miles around the store since there was a case of a powerful cultivator forcing a weak Thorron to sell his land. The buildings could be rented to earn money since the administration couldn't bereft ordinary Thorrons of the affluence the land brought because it was close to the store.
"You'll always be our leader, Maria," Evelyn responded as the two embraced each other in a tight hug.
Maria was slightly hesitant, unlike her usual demeanor with George and Evelyn.
"You don't need to feel guilty about disbanding the organization. I always knew that you would leave it once Aakesh returned to the higher dimension," Evelyn commented since she could see what was making Maria feel hesitant.
"Yes, we knew your reverence toward him. In fact, you exceeded our expectation of staying that long after Aakesh returned," George added. Living at the same residence made George and Evelyn closer to Maria, like siblings.
"So, what's going on with the store?" Evelyn asked Maria after a long conversation.

Aakesh saw George and Evelyn suddenly turning around and leaving in a different direction. He didn't have to think much since he knew where Maria lived.
Maria would invite him from time to time to visit her residence for dinner. It was just that he showed no interest in it.
