In the Ambemane family manor,

“Currently, the family head is in a meeting with the City leader and the other family heads. So, young master Zen will be discussing with you regarding our deal.”

After guiding Dominic and others into the family manor, Seth introduced them to a man in his thirties.

Zen is the eldest son of the Ambermane family head and the brother of Zac.

“So, you are the famous ‘Golden Gaints’ mercenary squad. Welcome to the Phirie city.”

Zen was polite as he continued, “I heard you will do anything as long as you are paid. Is that right?”

He didn’t waste time beating around the bush as he came to the main point directly.

“Isn’t that the reason why family head Liam invited us all the way to this city?”

Dominic was also straightforward as he gave the blunt reply, making Zen a little angry.

“Thank you for coming here on such short notice.”

Nevertheless, Zen suppressed his anger as his family needed their help.

“If you are thankful, let’s talk about the deal without further ado.”

Rebecca replied to Zen in a calm tone._-.

“In a week, the city leader is planning to open the recently discovered ‘God ruins’ and according to the initial research report, only heroes below the age of 25 can be entered.”

“Among the famous mercenary squads, your squad is the only one that has mercenaries below the age of 25. So, I want you to help the young heroes of my Ambermane family in the ‘God ruins’ and at the same time, kill the young heroes from other families.”

Suppressing his anger, Zen slowly explained the reason why the Ambermane family requested ‘Golden Giants’ help.

Initially, Zen started his explanation with a polite smile on his face; however, it changed into an evil smile by the end of his sentence.

“God ruins?”

Dominic and the other two were pleasantly surprised by those two words.

‘God ruins’ is a place where the otherworldly beings left various treasures for the humans.

However, each treasure is surrounded by various dangers, such that only the humans with sufficient strength could take them.

Moreover, to prevent the old heroes from taking over these treasures, each ‘God ruins’ is sealed with a barrier that only permits humans within a specific age limit.

“Yes.”

Zen nodded his head and continued, “However, don’t even think about taking all the treasures for yourself. If you complete your work properly, I will reward you with one or two treasures each along with the payment for your work.”

“Also, to enter the ‘God ruins’, you need to be a citizen of the Phirie city. So, the only way you can enter the Gods ruins is with my family’s help.”

Before Dominic could give any reply, Zen added another thing to make sure Dominic agreed to their deal.

“Looks like we can’t leave this manor until we agree to your deal, right?”

Even though Dominic is still in his early twenties, he had his share of trials and tribulations. So, he was able to grasp their current situation in no time.

“No wonder, you are able to become the squad leader of the famous ‘Golden Giants’ at such a young age.”

Zen revealed a slight smile on his face as he praised Dominic.

Even with such an open threat, Dominic and the other two didn’t show any signs of fear or worry as they remained seated with a calm look on their faces.

“So, what is your answer?”

Even though Zen openly threatened them, he was a little anxious in his head as he wanted this deal to be successful.

“As long as you pay us enough, we will have no problem in helping you.”

Dominic didn’t have to think much before giving his answer, making Zen happy.

“Of course.”

Zen nodded his head with great excitement as they started discussing the payment details.

A few kilometers away from Phirie city.

“Brother Leo, you are less than 25 years old, right?”

As Leo and Julia were returning to the city, Jula asked him with a curious look on his face.

From the looks, she could tell Leo was in his early twenties.

However, a few serums are available in the market that helps humans look younger than their actual age.

“Yes.”

Leo always kept his replies to a single world as he was the type to talk significantly less.

“Looks like you will be taking all the treasures from the ‘God ruins’.”

Julia said to Leo, with a bright smile on her face, making him raise his brows.

‘God ruins? Is there a ‘God ruins’ nearby?’

How could he not know what ‘God ruins’ are as an advanced hero?

However, he was not expecting there would be a ‘God ruins’ near the Phirie city.

“Huh? Didn’t you come to the Phirie city to participate in the Gold ruins?”

Seeing the surprised look on Leo’s face, Julia asked Leo about it.

“No”

“Did you find the trace of that bastard?”

An old man in a white battle robe shouted at a group of middle-aged men wearing some military uniform.

The group leader of middle-aged men walked to the front and shook his head in a low voice.

“Useless. There are hundreds of you but you still let him escape. What’s more, you are still unable to find a single trace of him.”

The old man was none other than the leader of the Everlasting city, Kaiser Drach.

When he heard the reply, he became furious and glared at the men standing in front of him.

‘Aargh’

Soon, everyone standing in front of Kaiser fell to their knees and groaned in pain.

“Because of that bastard, not only did I lose 100 advanced heroes but, I also lost my two sons.”

Kaiser clenched his fists as he thought about the death of his two sons.

“I will give you one month, to find out where that bastard is hiding after killing my sons and my men.”

After making them suffer for a while, Kaiser released them from his talent and gave them a deadline to find a young man.

“Thanks for showing mercy, City lord. We will definitely find him.”

The leader of the military unit thanked Kaiser before leaving the manor.

‘Once I find you, I will make you regret messing with me.’

Kaiser swore to himself as he looked at the disappearing military men.
