company in the country is bullying me!
“Yes, Bruno made a mistake, but Maia has abandoned him to save herself and Starlight! And they even
asked Bruno to pay 10 million dollars for failing his contract. How could Maia do this
to us?
“Maia, get the fuck out of your office right now, you coward!”
“Bruno is the coward here, Mrs. Myrtle.” Maia frowned as she emerged from the hallway the lobby.

As she approached Myrtle, Maia said, “The evidence was overwhelming, yet he refused to apologize.
We tried to help, but he left us with no choice.

Stumped, Myrtle backed off as Maia neared her. Stopping in her tracks, Maia frowned and looked
toward the door.
“Show yourself, Bruno! Don’t be a coward.”
The workers and Myrtle followed her gaze.
Suddenly, Bruno stormed into the lobby while carrying a knife.
“I’m going to fucking kill you, Maia!”
As he lunged at Maia, someone tackled him to the floor.
“Seriously, Bruno? You acted in so many action films, and this is all you got?”
Pinning Bruno down, Aiken snatched his knife and sat on him. “Isn’t this knife a prop? Did you steal it?”
“Aiken?” Maia was surprised to see her. “Weren’t you in a shoot in the mountains?”
“Hey, Maia. I finished with the shoot and came back last night. My agent called me this morning,
wanting me to host The Quest. But she canceled it. So when I came about the job and saw this guy

Maia nodded and looked toward Paige, who was still in shock. “Have you called the police?”
“Yes, they are arriving soon.”
Rushing over, the security guards seized Bruno and tied him up with a belt.
“Bruno! What are you guys doing? Let him go!” Myrtle tried to stop them.
Aiken shook his head. “Mrs. Myrtle, you abandoned everything to marry Bruno at the peak of
your career, but do you know what Bruno says about you behind your back? He tells everyone that you
threw yourself at him and that he doesn’t find you to be… sexually attractive.”
Aiken found it hard to say those words, but it was the truth. What he said shocked Myrtle.
“You can ask anyone who worked with him, and they will tell you the same. He also flirted with the
newcomers and always partied with different girls. He has no regard for you, Mrs. Myrtle. If you don’t
believe me, just ask around.”
