Chapter 2199 Yulia’s Question
At the end of the day, they were competitors. Although they were chit-chatting, they had their own little secrets and
were jealous of other people.
After Cindy and Serena walked to the hall, they parted ways. Cindy quickly got out of the building and called a cab.
When she got into the car, she texted Ian and asked if he was done with filming for the day.
Ian happened to be taking a break, so he immediately gave her a call when he saw her message. Cindy could hear
the background noise from his side and knew he was currently on a break at the studio. She couldn't hold it in and
told him about her activities that afternoon.
After hearing her words, Ian smiled and asked, "Does that mean I don't have to buy my own clothes anymore?"
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇt"You don't say! I'll be the one designing your clothes from now on. I'm going to design a new set of clothes for you
today," Cindy replied quickly.
Ian chuckled. "No need to be so hasty. I do hope you'll design my clothes once you're skilled enough, though. I'll
wear them out to any events I have at once."
However, Cindy didn't want that. She huffed and said, "I want you to be my model. Even if my designs are not that
pretty, you can still wear them out in public."
After bantering over the phone for a while, Cindy ended the call when her car arrived at the destination. She
hummed a melody while walking toward her house. For some reason, she was in a good mood even though she
and Ian were living in separate places.
In the past, she would blame herself and feel pity whenever she came home and was met with an empty house.
However, those days were in the past. Now, she felt at ease despite being alone. After all, she needed her
surroundings to be extra quiet when working. Thus, this lifestyle was perfect for her.
Cindy hummed a melody as she opened the front door. Once again, Aurora was not home. Cindy made herself
dinner and ate it while surfing the internet. She then looked through fashion magazines to gain inspiration, wanting
to design nice clothes for Ian.
While looking at the magazines, she received a notification on her phone, signaling that someone had sent her a
message. When she opened it, she was startled. Although it was an unknown number, she knew exactly who it was.
The text read, 'Are you and Ian officially married?'
As Cindy looked at the message, she found it funny since she hadn't expected Yulia to be holding onto this matter
until this day. It wasn't Yulia's business as to the authenticity of their marriage, so Cindy couldn't understand why
she was asking about it.
As she was thinking of a response, Yulia sent her another message. It was quite long, but to sum it up, Yulia told
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmCindy that she would congratulate them if they were indeed married. She only wanted a concrete answer so that
she could give up on Ian.
She did not hide anything from Cindy and proclaimed how she had poured her heart out for him. Thus, she was
reluctant to let it slide just like that. By asking about their marriage, Yulia was seeking closure.
Cindy was confused as to why Yulia was being over dramatic, so she was hesitant to tell the latter the truth. After
all, it would affect Ian if Yulia were to spread the word around. However, she couldn't stop herself and replied, 'Yes.'
Her response answered all of Yulia's questions, and the woman no longer sent any messages after that.
After taking a deep breath, Cindy put down her phone and quickly finished dinner. Then, she sat on the couch and
turned on the TV. After seeing Yulia's messages, she had lost all inspiration, and her mind was a mess. She couldn't
focus on anything else and could only spend her time watching TV.
