Chapter 100: Difficult Leveling System of Panagea
Aakesh returned to the town of Wolfden after he got his breakthrough to Level 10.
If he wanted to breakthrough further, he needed to complete quests as gaining another meditation art in the near future was based on luck, and he wasn't one to do things depending on luck.
"Hey, systems, how do I get quests for breakthroughs?" He asked the system while he was on his way to Wolfden.
The system answered that he needed to get quests from the citizens of the town, or he could kill strong beings like the wolf king to gain levels directly.
"Didn't you say that there are only two ways to increase levels? Now, you're saying I only need to kill beings like the wolf king to gain levels," He asked with confusion evident in his voice.
[Host, the beings like the wolf king come with their own storyline, so if you kill them, their future stories will stop at that moment. So you'd get rewards of the quests that may have activated when they were alive, only if you're weaker in level than them.]
The system responded in its mechanical voice. "Why don't you change the system of leveling in Panagea? Adventurers could get an increase in their levels by killing the beings of higher levels, and by doing quests, the adventurers could get different kinds of rewards," Aakesh suggested as the leveling system in Panagea was too complicated for the adventurers.

The system rejected Aakesh's suggestion right away. He then stopped asking any more questions and instead focused on his journey.
While returning, Aakesh noticed quite a number of guards around the jungle in the direction of the Wolfden. As he approached closer to Wolfden, the number of guards surveilling the area around the town also increased.
The guards ignored him due to being an adventurer, so no one stopped him despite the guards checking everybody else.
He reached the town and made his way toward the market. While in his way, he could see the grim expressions on the townspeople's faces. Aakesh knew a new quest had arrived, so he waited for the blue screen to appear while Aakesh strolled in the market.
As he expected, only a few moments had passed when suddenly a blue screen with the details of the new quest appeared in front of him. He stopped moving and focused on the floating window.
[Brave adventurer, the town of Wolfden needs you again.
From the last month, girls had been disappearing during the night. The town guards didn't take the case of missing girls seriously until the chief's daughter went missing yesterday.
In anger, the guard chief has assigned all the guards of the town to search for his daughter, which in turn has created a danger for the town as a few radicals of a pseudo-religion have infiltrated the city. The radicals are now forcing or baiting more and more citizens of Wolfden to convert to their religion.
Your mission is to find out the radicals and hunt them, for wherever their presence has been found, many kingdoms have faced events of mass extinctions, so our small town can't afford to battle them.
Your reward for the mission would be an increase of five levels. May you be successful!]
"Hunting mission," Aakesh murmured after reading the details. The next moment, the blue window disappeared after he read the quest.
He then asked the system how long he had entered Panagea for, as the store was currently open in the actual world.
[Host, four hours.]
The system responded. Aakesh decided to return to the store for the time being as the searching for the radicals in Wolfden would take time. The next moment, he disappeared from Panagea and appeared in the store.
Time flew by. The group of Pallas and her boss got forced out by the system as their six hours had ended.
The group had frustrating expressions as they still wanted to go back into Panagea. It was an exciting feeling for the group to think about a new life in a different world where they could never die and not face any consequences of their actions in the actual world.
"Store owner, can't you expand our time? I would pay you ten times the regular price," Pallas's boss requested Aakesh with an eager expression.

Pallas's boss wanted to speak something, but Pallas stopped her as she had seen Aakesh doesn't change rules for anybody.
"Boss, store owner doesn't change rules for anybody. There are already several portals we could come here every day," She whispered in her boss's ears.
Her boss nodded after hearing her employee as she didn't want Aakesh to prohibit her from entering the shop. The group turned around to leave when the group of Maria and her construction workers spawned in the store.
Pallas and her group only glanced at Maria and then left the store.
"Thank you, senior! I would come back tomorrow," Maria thanked Aakesh with a slight bow and left the store.
"If you complete the construction in three days, I will reward you again with six hours," Maria told her workers while exiting the store.
The construction workers excitedly nodded after hearing what Maria said, as they could never afford their entry into Panagea on their own.
A few seconds later, the group of Pento spawned in the store with cold faces. Everyone in the group had an aura of massacre surrounding them, which subsided after a moment.
The killing in the virtual world finally started affecting the area around them in the actual world. Bislo and Pento had shocked expressions, seeing the aura of massacre surrounding them after they spawned.
Bisal and Mark had no change in expressions as they didn't find anything new, while the same wasn't true for Bislo and Pento. They could feel a chilling cold from the aura surrounding them.
They then ate the last mental healing pill to calm their mind as the aura of killing started affecting their mind with various evil thoughts.. Their cold faces finally relaxed after a few moments as the pill helped in relaxing their mind.
