"He is quite impressive." The nameless Nexus Being could not help commenting after watching Leon's battle with his copy. It had been a short, but very intense fight where not even Michael knew who would win.

"I know." Michael nodded his head.

Silence reigned between the two as they watched Leon's body collapse to the side, devoid of energy. There was no further reaction from the copy, as it was now dead.

"Did he pass?" Michael eventually asked.

"Splendidly, I must say. I expected him to fail miserably, but his ingenuity helped him." The Nexus Being said, its voice shaking the void. "You are not the first to have come with someone who wanted to return to their former world. They mostly all failed because they were unable to think on the fly. While I commend their power, most of them were not as special as this boy you have here."

Michael frowned as he listened to the Nexus Being's words. "So you sent them back?" He asked.

"No. Not all of them. Some of them who were able to impress me were granted their wishes, but the others were turned away." The Nexus Being replied.

The two of them appeared over the devastated piece of land that had been overturned by Leon's and his copy's battle. The copy broke apart and faded away into particles of light. However, instead of dispersing, the particles of light instead floated to Leon's prone form and landed on him, fixing his injuries for him.

Michael shot a surprised look to the being made of red light, but was ignored completely as he picked up Leon's prone form. He held Leon in a sitting position and checked his condition. The particles of light not only fixed Leon's body, but also rejuvenated and strengthened it. Michael was sure that when Leon woke up, he would be bombarded by a ton of notifications from stat increases!

A few seconds passed after the flurry of white particles before Leon woke up from his state of unconsciousness. He sat up with a start and looked around, only calming down when he set his eyes on Michael and the Nexus Being.

"The test... Did I pass?" Leon was not scatterbrained when he regained consciousness, and immediately asked what had been on his mind before he lost consciousness.

"Yes, you did." The Nexus Being nodded and the surroundings changed with a thought. They appeared back in the voice, with the Nexus Being standing before Leon and Michael.

Leon looked around with mild curiosity before focusing his attention back on the being before him.

"I will now open the gateway to the world you wish to visit. You have a week, and you shall immediately be drawn back to Datar." The Nexus Being nodded and waved its hand, summoning a swirling red portal.

"I thank you." Michael bowed his head and thanked the Nexus Being, prompting Leon to do the same. The silver haired Fate God then passed through the red portal, with Leon right behind him. A red tunnel extended past the portal, with bright white light shining at the end of the tunnel.

"I actually passed." Leon sighed with relief. He stared down the red tunnel and asked, "So what next?"

"We walk through this tunnel, and then we arrive on Earth." Michael replied simply and began walking. The closer he got to the tunnel, the more 'human' he looked. Before long, he returned to the form that Leon was more familiar with. Even Leon was changing, with flesh and muscles growing over his black bones. Before long, he had regained a human form, albeit he looked a bit different from before.

After a while of walking, the two of them eventually came before a curtain of white light. Michael stopped and turned to Leon to address him.

"Remember, even thought you are on Earth, you still retain most of your abilities. Be careful with everything you do." He said sternly, a white light flashing through his eyes for a moment.

Leon nodded his head warily. He did not doubt that Michael would make sure he regretted doing anything out of line and excessive in this world.

"Good." Michael nodded and turned around, walking through the white curtain. Leon followed behind him a second later.

Whoosh!

A cold gust of wind hit Leon but it did not really bite into him, as his body was simply too strong for such weathers to cause serious discomfort to him.

"Put this on. Blend in." Michael handed Leon a thick winter coat, a scarf, face mask, and a head warmer. With a snap of the God's fingers, he was covered in an ash colored winter wear to match with his hair. Leon put on the black clothes that went with his long hair and dark skin.

"Err, thanks." He murmured and quickly put on what had been given to him before looking around.

The two of them had appeared in a dark alleyway. It was night time, and the streets were a bit busy. A thick carpet of snow covered the ground, while it was a bit more heaped in the corners of the alley.

'Winter?' Leon did a quick calculation in his mind before realizing that according to how long he had spend in his new world, it was indeed winter, a few days away from a new year. 'Christmas should be soon, or maybe even past, I don't know.' Leon shrugged.

"Let's go. You wanted to put your mind at rest, yes? We can head to the place you worked at." Michael gave Leon a backwards glance.

"I doubt they will be open by now." Leon shook his head. It looked to be quite late.

"We still have roughly half an hour before they close for the day." Michael responded, taking a glance at the silver watch on his wrist. He started walking away, and Leon had no choice to follow him.

After stepping out of the alleyway, Leon suddenly realized that they were just a few meters away from where he had been run into by the truck. He then suddenly realized that Michael even knew the time that he usually closed from work.

"No way, were you stalking me?!" Leon realized abruptly.
