Jack even felt somewhat ashamed. He turned his head away, not wanting to meet Elias’

Tension filled the air, and everyone was feeling various emotions.
“It’s in the study. Follow me,” said Jack as he walked toward the study after clearing his
throat with everyone following him.
Elias took a gander at Amanda before following Jack.
Amanda, on the other hand, smiled, at ease as she joined everyone in the study, for she
