"Are you planning on taking some time off and resting for the rest of your life with a few beauties on your side, or will you go out and splurge it all?" Manager Tilan enquired, teasing Zayn while hinting at a few things that caused the young Normie to frown.

'This bastard really wants a beating, doesn't he?' Zayn asked himself while tilting his head as if he couldn't understand what Manager Tilan was talking about.

"I don't know what you mean," He responded to Manager Tilan's question. The smiling Manager continued to look at him, waiting for Zayn to say something when he noticed the shift in Zayn's gaze.

Zayn's gaze turned eerily cold all of a sudden, astonishing the Manager a bit. He wouldn't have expected a kid of Zayn's age to look like this, so cold, almost as if he was staring at his prey.

"I'm going to continue fighting, of course," Zayn said slowly, emphasizing each word as if he wanted them all to travel through Tilan's ears and reach his thick skull. His voice seemed as cold as his gaze.

"What kind of dumb question is that, to begin with?"

The guards around Zayn drew in a raspy breath as they heard what he said. They didn't even dare to look at their Manager, not wanting him to take it out on them.

However, Zayn was not afraid of that. He blatantly stared at the overly joyous manager who was still smiling.

Manager Tilan was still smiling but the corners of his lips twitched. He was having a hard time keeping up his facade as he listened to Zayn's insult.

Zayn noticed the way Manager Tilan's smile faltered. That was also why he chose to keep going. He had to provoke the manager to make sure that the next challenge would end up with him fighting the Chimera.

That way, his part of the mission would be completed in an instant.

"I think I will bet my whole fortune on my own survival as well, probably to kill the next opponent in ten seconds once again," Zayn mumbled to himself, yet loud enough for Manager Tilan to hear.

"That way, I should get a tenfold, twentyfold, or maybe even fiftyfold increase in my fortune…I wonder how much would be if I bet more than nine gold thalers…After that…we will see if I am satisfied with my fortune, or not…I wonder how much I can make if I continue like this…"

When Zayn finished speaking to 'himself', he looked straight at Manager Tilan once again.

"You…" Manager Tilan thundered through his gritted teeth, just to recall where he was. He pinched the back of his right hand with his left and looked over to the guards.

"I think our challenger is tired due to his fight. Lead him back to the room where he can rest," Manager Tilan ordered, his eyes set ablaze.

Zayn felt like adding another sucker punch to further poke him and nodded his head.

"If you want me to leave, just say so. But register me for the next Colosseum's Challenge…and please, give me a more challenging opponent next time, it was quite boring…thanks!"

He walked past Manager Tilan after the last verbal blow. A small smile played on his lips as he made his way back to his room. Manager Tilan was fuming in anger, grinding his teeth. However, forced to keep up his bright facade, he could only laugh lightly.

"Youngsters, they lost all sense of respect, hahaha. What an entertaining change…hahahaha!"

Meanwhile, Zayn didn't even think about resting when he reached his room. Once the guards left, he sat down on the bed and looked at the golden Soul Wisp that levitated around him.

"I wonder if you're willing to regain your glory," He mumbled, his hand reaching out for the Soul Wisp of the Blazing Sabertooth Tiger, "If you have given up on yourself, I will release you. After all, I don't intend to raise weaklings!"

The Soul Wisp of the Blazing Sabertooth Tiger meekly followed Zayn after he killed it. That was not the last will of the Blazing Sabertooth Tiger but Zayn's doing.

He used the Soul Guidance technique to control the Soul Wisp of the Blazing Sabertooth Tiger. Only he was able to see the Soul Wisp, which meant that it was no problem to lead the Blazing Sabertooth Tiger's Soul Wisp to his room where he could extract the Soul Essence and manifest the Spirit with the remaining ownerless soul particles.

Zayn was not supposed to finish his second Soulring right now. Advancing to the Soul Knight rank might mean that Manager Tilan would never let him face the crippled Chimera. Though Zayn was pretty sure that he would soon face the Chimera, irrespective of whether he had only one completed Soulring, or two, he didn't want to take the risk and foil his plans.

Soul Guidance was a powerful technique that was closely related to the movement of Souls. He could not only guide his Spirits but also control Soul Wisps to a certain extent.

Using it on Soul Wisps meant that the ownerless soul particles attached to them would slowly be drained but the consumption was not too high.

There was still more than enough to manifest the Spirit of the Blazing Sabertooth Tiger.

At the end of the day, Zayn chose to manifest the Blazing Sabertooth Tiger because it was a powerful monster with the ability to spit out flames. It would certainly come in handy in the near future. Furthermore, he wouldn't be able to handle the Chimera, if he wished to manifest its Spirit, either way.

Zayn was not strong or skilled enough to handle a Spirit with two Soulrings yet, even less the Chimera, a monster that was strong enough to defeat Blessed at the Soul Lord Rank. Merlin was an exception because the Adventurer had been extremely powerful in his heydays, but that was not important right now.

What was important was just that Zayn wouldn't be able to handle a Spirit such as the Chimera. Thus, he told himself to use the Chimera's ownerless soul particles to complete his second Soulring after he defeated it. That way, he could manifest the other monsters he would face in the challenge. After all, the monsters he was bound to face were not only powerful but also rare with unique traits.

Even if the Colosseum didn't notice it, Zayn was exploiting them to the limit, wringing them out like a wet towel, until the last droplet of water would be wrung out!

"Give me all you got!!"
