| had to keep my thoughts here | had to focus on what | had control over otherwise nothing was going to get done. | had to deliver my baby if | kept thinking of my husband | was not going to be able to bring myself to push. Grayson wasn’t alone he had my brothers with him, and Brian. My parents were helping my people and | had to do this. | had to get my baby out safely.

| heaved in a breath as another contraction. For what felt like forever | kept the fear of my husband in danger at bay as Tbhreathed in and out when the contractions came. | sat there as my b*dy slowly pulled itself apart to bring my son into the world and his father fought for his life and our land.

“Hoo000,” | growled and breathed as | clenched my hand around Cea’s “Breathe,” She toldas | heaved in another deep breath.
