Picking Up Beautiful Girls In The Post-Apocalyptic World!

As Han flew towards the town at high speeds, he noticed that there were a lot of people walking around on the town streets. The town was very large, almost bigger than City C on earth. It was mostly made up of small stone buildings and it only had five or six multiple-floor buildings scattered around the place. Traders were selling by the side of the streets and children were playing along the road. Was this not a full economy? How can a place like this exist so peacefully on this floor?

A river in the town had a lot of people around as they fished for their food. A few men were wearing armor and carrying weapons. Han guessed that they were adventurers and guards who were in charge of defending the town. The town was surrounded by dense forestry and Han landed at the edge of this forest when he was finished scouting the town.

From what Han saw the town didn’t look dangerous at all. It looked very peaceful. For a town that is on this sort of floor, Han was surprised that it was this peaceful. I know that they are not strong, so how the hell are they surviving on floor ninety-six? The strongest people should be around the level of a white star. Their rank won’t exceed the ADVANCED rank (White Star Level) and they won’t be a challenge for anything that lives on this floor. So how are they living here?

Han started to enter the town as he passed the guards. The guards were none the wiser as they kept on talking among themselves. They didn’t even notice Han at all! since his skills were still active! Han’s skills were very high level and Han was sure that unless he deactivated them no one in this town will know he is there.

Han noticed that the guards were talking about something and he crept a little closer to see if it was about anything important. It will be good to get any sort of information that he can before he goes into the town. Han knew that no one in this town was a challenge for him, but it would be wise to collect information before he goes in.

“It’s tonight, isn’t it? That woman is coming again?”

“Yeah, she’s going to bring the Elixir again. We have to make sure we get there early so we can see her dance”

“I’m sure you just want to stare at her, you damn pervert!”

“Well aren’t you the same!? Ever since she came here we’ve only had good things! Who wouldn’t fall in love with her!? And her Elixir even protects us against monster attacks! She is amazing!”

“Yeah, I guess you’re right. She is the most beautiful woman I’ve ever seen, after all, she is too good to be true.”

The guards trailed off as they started to talk about other things that weren’t important and Han decided that he got enough information already nad he continued to move into the town. So there was some sort of helper here that was saving them from the monsters? And what exactly is this Elixir? I haven’t heard anything about an Elixir that drives away monsters. But it is also strange how there are no monsters around the town. I know that there are a lot of monsters on this floor, but there are no monsters around here, so maybe it is actually true? Is this woman using some sort of skill to help them?

Han decided that it was time for him to show himself. Han needed to find out more about the town and if he was invincible he won’t be able to ask important questions. Han didn’t have time to listen to gossip and wait for someone to finally talk about what he needed to hear.

Han immediately went into an alleyway and hid behind it as he deactivated his skills. His body became visible again and Han turned and walked out of the alley. Han was wearing a simple robe over a black shirt and trousers so he didn’t look too out of place since the outfit was a versatile one. Han just looked like anyone else and he was ignored by most of the people moving around.

Han needed information, so the best place to go to first would be the adventurers guild. If there are adventurers here, then there is an adventurers guild as well. I’m sure that they will be able to tell me more about this town than anyone else. They’re the ones that have been handling the monsters so they’ll know why the monsters are no longer here.

Han started to move deeper into the town. He used his [Almighty Overseer] and he was able to see where the guild house was at the edge of the town. Han made it to the edge in a few minutes and he entered the flap door. The chatter that was going on inside the guild was intense and there were a lot of people laughing and drinking happily as they spoke with each other! Some of them were talking about that woman again ad some of them were talking about monsters. Han tuned his hearing as he tried to get as much information as possible from the crowd. He always found it difficult to filter out unnecessary sound because of how good his hearing was. Han could hear a fly fucking another fly from ten miles away in his sleep, and right now Han felt like he was swimming in a sea of sound.

It took Han a few seconds but he was finally able to filter the sounds so that he focused on only five distinct conversations. One of them was talking about how there was some sort of monster subjugation quest occurring soon. Someone else was lamenting about how there were no more strong monsters on this floor and someone else was saying that he should shut up and not wish for stupid things. They were all grateful to this woman because ever since she came here, the monsters have reduced in difficulty!

Han hummed again as he heard about this woman again. Who is this woman? She seems like the savior of their entire town or something. Is there some sort of power that she has? I don’t know why this whole thing doesn’t sit well with me. Unless she is a UNIQUE rank like him, then she shouldn’t be able to handle the monsters on this floor. A single monster on this floor would give a black star a run for his money. It would take at least three black stars to fight even one of the monsters on this floor and that is only when they are ready to lay down their lives! You’re trying to tell me that these weak-ass people were able to fight the monsters with the help of his woman?

Han walked up to the receptionist area and a cute girl with green cat-like eyes and a small blush on her face looked up at him with a smile.

“Hello, welcome to the adventurers guild. Would you like to register as an adventurer -!!”

The girl suddenly stopped and stared at Han in awe as her eyes widened! Han was surprised as he saw the new look. Is she alright?

The girl was staring in awe because she just tried to read Han’s power level using one of her skills but she wasn’t able to feel any power coming from him at all! Her [Analyse] skill allows her to rank people from F-class to SS-class based on the amount of power they had, and she would always use it conspicuously on everyone that came to the guild, but she couldn’t feel any power coming from Han!

She didn’t see this as a bad thing! In fact, it was amazing! The only person that she has never been able to read their power was that woman!

“Y-You don’t have any power…? Are you like her!? Are you also a traveler!?”

The girl suddenly said this with awe as she put her hand to her mouth! She could read everyone’s power in this town because all of them were almost of the same level as a white star. It was only that woman that was strong enough that none of them could ever feel the power from her. Is this man like her!?

Han could immediately tell that it would be troublesome if she shouted. It looked like she was about to blow her gasket!

[Hypnotic Aura] has been activated!

The woman immediately slouched! Ah~! This is bliss! What was I even thinking about? I don’t think it was important. Oh, what a handsome man~! I have to help him any way he wants~

The woman behind the counter was completely lost in pleasant bliss and she couldn’t resist Han’s aura at all.

Han hasn’t used this skill in a long time and he was glad that he even remembers it! The woman’s eyes glazed over and Han let out a quiet sigh as he finally relaxed. But why is it so quiet in here? Han looked behind him and he saw that everyone was now slouching! Their eyes were all glazed over and they all looked like they were in a trance! Shit! Han didn’t think his skill would be this strong! He only intended to hypnotize the girl but he hypnotized the entire room!!

Han scratched the back of his head with an annoyed expression on his face. It didn’t really matter anyway. He just needed to get the information he wanted and get out. Han turned to the lady at the desk and spoke to her.

“What town is this?”

The woman spoke in a slurry voice that made her seem like she was drunk as she answered that it was a town known as New Rizer. It was created by a large number of diverse races who were out here by an unknown person The races used to live in scattered colonies and they tried their best to survive by fighting the monsters here but they were still no match for the monsters till that woman came to help them.

“That woman again? Who is she?”

“We don’t know. But she was the one that united all the races and made us form this town. She has been looking after us for a long time and she also gave us elixirs for us to use -”

The girl stopped here automatically and Han blinked in surprise. She was just about to tell him about the elixir and she suddenly stopped. What happened?
