The station of stepping theengh the portal was unlike anything Id ever experienced before. One moment, I was standing in andddle of the forest with my males, and the nest, the air around is shifted, thickening like mist before solidifying into something tangible. My body tingled as a rush of energy passed through me, like the world itself was adjusting to our presence.

I blinked rapidly, struggling to believe it had actually worked. The tires here were darker, their bark deep shades of violet and churmal, their leaves whispering softly, even though no wind stirred. A heavy mist curled around the forest floor, making everything feel surreal. The sky merhead was a deep, shifting gray, as though tof day didn't exist here. The eerie silence was the loodest thing of all, pressing against my ears like a warning. Austin and Alex stepped forward, their eyes wide with wonder. "Holy shit," Alex muttered, running a hand through his dark hair. "We're actually here." Austin turned to me, his gaze sharp. "How did you do that Stormi?" I hesitated, gripping my arms as I tried to find the right words. The truth was, I wasn't entirely sure myself. "I don't know," 1 admitted. "I just... willed it to happen. I thought about this place, pictured it in my mind, and it felt like stepping through a door." Isaiah studiedcarefully. "The lunar veil is amazing. Even witches have to use incantations, relics, or spells to create portals. But you willed it into existence. That's something else entirely." Instead, I turned my attention to our surroundings. We were in the forest surrounding the castle ruins. The scastle where we had been trained in preparation for our quest by the people we thought were on our side.
"We should move deeper into the forest," I said. "We don't know who else has access to this realm. If Mother and the Children of the Eclipse are still searching for the keystone, we can't risk them spotting us." Isaiah nodded, "Agreed. Everyone, stay sharp." The With that, we moved deeper into the forest. I had never ventured this far before, and a strange sense of unease crept ate crept over me. T shadows between the trees seemed to move, twisting unnaturally, and every few steps, I felt the weight of unseen eyes on me.
As we moved through the dense forest, Alex walked beside me, his dual carefree expression replaced by wary curiosity. "You ever wonder what kind of things live out here?" Austin groaned. "Seriously, Alex? Why would you even ask that?" Alex grinned. "Con, this is the Uncharted Realm. It's got to be full of weird, magical creatures, right? For all we something stalking us right now, waiting to know, there's "Enough," Isaiah cut him off. "Stay focused. We don't know what's out here, but we don't want to find out the hard way." 33 I shot them a look. "Let's just stay allert. We'll deal with whatever comes our way." Alex scoffed. "I don't know how you can be so calm when there might be things in this forest that would probably want to eat us bet it will eat you fi first," Isaiah said.
