The war against these beasts lasted full hundred years, and many weaker nations were completely wiped out by them. The strong nations suffered heavy casualties, too. As a result of the war, the human population reduced by almost half.

However, the heavens had yet to end humanity's hope. Just when humans thought that they were about to be abandoned by the world, they finally discovered the secret key hidden within the human's body, 'battle spirit and bloodline'.

Through the battle spirit Awakening Ceremony, humans could successfully awaken their own battle spirit. Furthermore, by nurturing their own battle spirit, humans began to have the ability to contend against those monsters.

Thus the most respected profession took its birth on Earth - Martial Warrior!

The battle spirits could be anything. It could be a weapon of some sort such as a long sword, a spear or an axe. It could be one of the beasts, and It could also be any elemental power such as fire, earth, or lightning etc.

In other words, a battle spirit could be anything.

Through the long experience of the people, humans found out that the best age to awaken the battle spirit could not be too young, otherwise, it would be easy to be counterattacked by the battle spirit. But they can't be too old either, after all, time was extremely precious.

Finally, after a very long discussion, an alliance was formed which is now the biggest power on entire earth. They decided that the age of fifteen years old was the best age to awaken the battle spirit and become a Martial Warrior.

As for the bloodline, it was discovered after one thousands years of awakening battle spirits by the humans.

After many years of research, humans finally found out that the descendants of only those people who became extremely powerful, powerful enough to not worry about being annihilated by the beasts, might possess their bloodlines.

In other words, bloodlines comes from a very powerful Martial Warrior.

Well, coming back to the time when humans just discovered battle spirits. After awakening the battle spirits, they were able to put up a fight against the demonic beasts but there was still another danger left that humans could not ignored, and the name of that danger was 'spatial cracks'.

Humans gathered a team of awakened ones and let them enter the spatial cracks to find out what was behind it.

It was also the biggest step that humanity had taken at that time which changed the fate of entire humanity.

After the team of awakened ones entered the spatial crack, they discovered that the other side of the spatial cracks was like a large island or a small world. To the other side of each spatial crack, there were small worlds with different sizes which were filled with great dangers as well as great opportunities.

Every world was like a dungeon of some sort. They had strange creatures within and some of these strange creatures were powerful enough to destroy the entire earth. It was fortunate that these creatures were unable to enter the earth and only earthlings can come here.

After searching of another few years, humans discovered that some of the strange world hides powerful treasures within it which can increase one's strength by a large margin.

They also discovered that upon being killed, some of the creatures drops a crystal which can be absorb by a human. Humans named these crystals as dimensional crystal.

By absorbing a dimensional crystal, not only can human increase their strength, there was a low chance to get an ability from the dimensional crystal as well.

Some of the spatial cracks also has ancient ruins within it, after exploring which, humans get to know about the cultivation techniques, and battle skills. After gathering these techniques and skills, humans took a path to the future that was impossible to even think when there was no spatial crack.

Humans started to cultivate those cultivation techniques and practice the battle skills they got from those strange worlds. With time, humans started to become stronger and stronger.

When humans started to cultivate those techniques, they felt that there was another type of energy in the air of earth. They named this energy as the Spirit Energy. Some also liked to call it Spiritual Qi.

As the time passed, Humans also discovered that they can make a contract with the beasts and fight alongside with them. They also discovered that making the contract with a beast's cub is lot easier and advantageous than making a contract with a mature beast.

From then on, humans started to make their contract with beasts, giving the birth to a new profession, 'Beastmaster'.

Making a contract with the beasts was not only beneficial for humans, it was also beneficial for the beasts as they can evolve a lot faster after making their contract with humans.

Now after five thousands years, humans are developed to the point where they can even left the earth and started to spread mankind in the Milky Way Galaxy. But not everyone was qualified to leave earth.

The homeroom teacher carefully placed the transparent Pearl from his hands to the stage.
