Chapter 317: Swiftport
Time flew by, and several seconds had passed.
"Clang!"
The sound of metallic clash rang in the area as another arrow shot by Aakesh clashed with the arrow coming at him.
Fortunately for Aakesh, who had tens of arrows pierced into his throat, the strength he had used in the release was equal to the arrow coming at him.
Since the strength for both the arrows was equivalent, after the clash, both of them disintegrated into nothingness.
Soon, the bullseye release another arrow. It seemed to be slower than the previous arrows, making it slower than the previous one.
Time flew by, and forty minutes had passed.
During the last forty minutes, Aakesh had died for more than thousands of times, while his throat had gotten pierced even more times.

Since the time Aakesh had decided for the training had passed, he decided to return to the selection area. He then thought of exiting the training hall, and the next moment, he appeared in the selection area.
Lily's training for today still hadn't gotten completed, so she still hadn't exited. Aakesh then sat down as his chair appeared for him.
Aakesh only had to wait for a few minutes when a portal appeared, and then Lily stepped out of it.
Seeing Aakesh waiting for her, she jumped on Aakesh's head and then began sharing her experience in today's training with him.
Aakesh patiently listened to her experience, and when she had stopped, he messed up her fur while laughing. Lily angrily hissed at Aakesh in response, but she didn't move or try to escape his hands.
The next moment, both of them disappeared from the selection area and appeared in the store.
"I'll return tomorrow," Lily told Aakesh and jumped up the stairs connecting the floor to their room.
Aakesh didn't stop her. After the door of the room got closed and the stairs had disappeared, Aakesh went to the portal room.
Since the day after the event, Aakesh had gotten a habit of looking at the leaderboard table in the portal room before entering Panagea. Today, he did the same and noticed there was an addition of new Level 10 in the table.
Aakesh only took a glance and then touched the nearest virtual portal. The next moment, a suction force stronger than anything he had ever faced appeared and sucked him in.
The next moment, he disappeared from the store and appeared in the same location from where he had exited Panagea yesterday.
Aakesh's connection with the town of Wolfden was already over, so without even taking a look at the surroundings around him, Aakesh took a step forward in the direction of the jungle.
The nearest city, his next destination, was in the other direction, but he had promised Lily to protect the cubs, so he decided to check on them for the last time before leaving from here.
As for the Townhead and John breaking their promise, Aakesh didn't worry. He had seen the fear they had for him in their eyes. Despite that, they dared to, Aakesh would end their misery and kill everyone related to them since it was his promise to Lily, the most important person in his life.
If someone were to look at Aakesh right now, they would never be able to guess that he was thinking of a massacre.
Time flew by.
Aakesh was currently looking at the cubs, and slightly young wolves were playing with each other while there were ten guards guarding the radius of one mile around that location.
Even the Townhead wouldn't have this level of protection, as the lowest level guard was Level 34, while the highest level guard was Level 39.
Aakesh nodded in appreciation, seeing the Townhead fulfilling his promise. The guards were the strongest soldiers Lewis and the town had, but since there was no danger of high-level wolves and the wolf king from now on, these soldiers will guard this area until the day they retired.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmAakesh didn't find any issues with the settings of the Townhead, so he took a last glance at the cubs playing with each other, and left the area, never to come.
Until the last moment, Aakesh didn't feel any sympathy for the cubs. If not for Lily, he would've already killed them that day with their parents.

The city nearest to the town of Wolfden was Swiftport. As the city's name suggested, it had a port for the ocean trade, making it the trading hub for a radius of a billion miles in the low-level areas on the western end of Panagea.
Since the city was the trading hub of this part of the area, it was also the strongest city.
The highest level any being could attain in the city was Level 250, making it the only city in this part of the low-level area that could house such a level of beings. The city head was a Level 250 human, just a level away from becoming a mythical lifeform.
The Level 250 in Panagea signified a peak level Immortal that had attained the embryo of the divine physique in the Primal dimension. So, if any of the current adventurers were to gain Level 251, they would automatically attain divinity if they could pay to transfer the energy in reality.
The Panagea also allowed the cultivators to bypass the tribulation. Every cultivator, mage, or warrior needs to face to ascend if they became a Level 251 in Panagea. Only Aakesh was allowed to bypass that rule since it was the system that decided when to ascend or not. It could put a limit on Aakesh's growth anytime it wanted.
Since these were things of the future, Aakesh didn't spend much time thinking after he recalled some basic information he had learned from the town's citizens and the system.
If Aakesh were to travel on his foot without any movement skill, it would take weeks for him to reach the city since it was around 15,000 miles away from the town. Aakesh decided to use one of the copied movement skills since he didn't want to waste a week on a journey.

A/N: From today, the book will return to its usual schedule. Sorry for the trouble! This random schedule had completely messed up my mind whenever I tried to find some time to write. Hopefully, I will never face this kind of tough schedule anymore.
Thanks for reading! Have a great day!
