Dave hoped that the crazy fans outside would leave on their own as time went by and everyone and that was true for a few of them but the majority of them stayed and continued making noise outside.
In the end, a policeman showed up to clear them all up, and finally, Dave and Emma could breathe a sigh of relief.
After hearing the noise die down outside, Dave made his way upstairs to find Emma on the bed half asleep.
He made his way to the bed and sat down beside her before placing his hand on her stomach.
"They're gone now." He muttered to her.
"Really?" She said before blinking a few times. "They're not really noisy from up here but it's a good thing they're gone."
"Yeah," Dave said with a nod.
"Do you think they'll come back tomorrow?"
"I don't know but they most likely will." The goalkeeper said.
After hearing him say that, Emma let out a sigh before turning away from him.
"How did Clark say he was going to help?" She asked.
"Well, he says he knows a nice house that is up for sell not too far away from here."
"And you're sure someone hasn't bought it yet?"
"No, he said he spoke to the seller a couple of months ago, he told him to keep the place for him, the seller refused because someone wanted to buy it then but then he made an offer to buy it for a slightly higher price than the original price." He expressed.
"And he did all that for you?"
"Yeah."
"Wow, he's so thoughtful compared to you." She said.
"Yeah," Dave said before placing his hand on the back of his head.
<Spot on>
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇt"And I guess me too, I should have thought about this too." She muttered.
"Hey, don't worry, it's really nobody's fault and besides no one got hurt plus we will most likely be moving out of here soon, I already sent Clark the funds to take care of everything so he'll be here tomorrow." He expressed.
"That sounds reassuring." She smiled before closing her eyes. "I think I need to get some sleep now."
"Okay," Dave said before he leaned closer and gave a kiss on her cheek. "I'll just head downstairs and um…grab a glass of water, I'll be back up in a few minutes."
"Okay." She muttered.
________ _________
Morning came by quickly with Dave's prayer that morning being that no crazy group of people show up to disturb him.
He got pretty early for his morning run to avoid running into anyone or getting into a situation he didn't like and that was the best thing for him.
But still, after that and even till the point when he had to drop Emma off at work nobody showed up at their door.
He dropped her off and returned home to find nobody which was a big relief.
<I guess their meeting time is in the evening>
'Yeah, maybe.' Dave replied before closing the door to his car.
He made his way inside the house and decided to stay there for a while to see if they were going to show up but they never did until he got a call from Clark by 11:00 AM.
He told him to meet him somewhere and after ending the call, the goalkeeper got ready to leave.
He got ready as fast as he could and after that, he made his way to his car.
He zoomed off toward the right and after getting to the junction, he took the right turn until he got to the front of a large building with very tall fences surrounding it. Of course, Clark was waiting for him in front of the building.
"Hey, bro, how're you doing?" Clark said before bringing out his hands for an informal handshake.
"I'm doing great, you?"
"I'm doing great too," Clark said with a smile.
"So, I'm guessing this is the place." The goalkeeper said before looking up at the place.
"Yeah, you got that right, the seller just finished giving me a tour around the area so it's now my turn to give you a tour around the house." He said before raising the key he was holding.
"Wait, you already took care of everything?" Dave said with a shocked expression on his face.
"Yeah, I've been here in Unique City since 7:30 AM."
"Really?"
"Yeah, but let's forget about that and go check this place out." He said before opening the gate.
<You know it's quite funny how you bought a place without even getting a vague picture of how the place looks>
'Well, that would have been a problem if it was someone else handling this for me. I trust Clark's judgment, I don't know if you can tell but we have very similar tastes when it comes to a lot of things.'
<Yeah, when you put it that way, it makes a lot of sense>
After entering the gate, Dave could see that the compound was way larger than he thought and the building seemed to be farther away from the gate than he initially thought.
The floor was a nicely layered marble floor and the building had somewhat of a spherical shape with most of its parts being made of glass.
Clark took him to the right side where they had the large swimming pool which happened to be empty at that moment.
And to the left of that swimming pool was what was supposed to be his workout place as there were a couple of workout equipments inside the room.
Dave seemed to be impressed with what he had seen so far and even after taking a look at the other parts outside the house, that impression didn't leave him.
They were done looking around outside now and it was time to see how the inside looked.
"Judging by your expression, you like what you've seen so far, then I'm sure you'll like what's inside more," Clark said with a smile.
"Yeah, I can tell, you're really excited to show me." The goalkeeper said.

Although the house had already been cleaned, there were still a lot of things that needed to be arranged plus he had to move a couple of things from the old house over to this one.
Clark already had a van ready to do that and after that, they two went to buy a couple of new pieces of furniture to go with the house.
It was a pretty long day for both Dave and Clark, it was supposed to be the goalkeeper's day off but he spent it making sure that the house looked nice enough before Emma gets back from work.
After all the hard work was finally happy with the way the house looked and it was right on cue as Emma texted him right at that moment.
"Alright, Clark, I have to go pick her up now," Dave said as he made his way out of the door.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏm"Okay," Clark said before following him from behind. "I guess I'll get going now."
"So, are you leaving tomorrow?"
"No, I've decided to spend the whole of next week, will definitely pay a visit to Supreme City tomorrow."
"Oh, I see I'm glad you'll be staying for a week but I want to get something right, first. You're not planning to spend most of your days in Supreme City, are you?" The goalkeeper inquired.
"Hey, what's up with that question? It's not like I have anything important to do here in Unique, but still, if you need anything, I'll be here in a heartbeat. Well, not technically a heartbeat but I'll be as fast as I can." Clark expressed.
"Thanks, Clark, you're the best."
"Don't mention it."
After that, the two parted ways as Dave drove to his wife's workplace to pick her up.
He picked up fast and now that the two were heading back together, they seemed to be talking about something.
Just as they got to the junction, she expected to take the right turn because that was where their home was supposed to be but he kept driving straight.
"Hey, where are you heading to, our home's on the right you just passed it." She said sounding a bit confused.
"No, our home's this way."
"Huh?"
"I mean our new home."
"New home?"
"Yeah," Dave said as he began to slow down.
He had gotten close to the house now as the gate slowly began to open for him to drive in.
Emma was speechless as the lights around the area lit up as soon as he drove into the area.
"When you said we were going to move in soon you never told me it was going to be today." She said as she slowly looked around the area from inside the car.
"Well, you can thank Clark for that, he helped me make sure everything was ready for us to move in today and we've already done the moving in part." He explained.
"This place looks beautiful and the building looks nice."
"You think so? Well, then wait till you see the interior of the building."
