The match was set to kick off and right now, the players were in the locker room getting dressed up and ready to start making their way to the pitch for the match.
Norman had already told them everything that he needed to tell them, so all they had to do now was get dressed up and start making their way to the pitch.
They were putting on their home jersey as expected, the orange jersey with black polka dots, and instead of the lemon green kit he usually had on at home, he was putting on a black kit with orange outlines running down the sleeves, edges of his shirt, and shorts.
It was clear that their kits for the Europa conference League matches were modified compared to the ones they wear for league games.
After getting dressed up, they made their way toward the exit where they met FC Basel players already lined up.
They were putting on their away jersey which was a white shirt with black shorts and as for their goalkeeper, he was putting on an orange kit.
They waited there for a while before they were finally given the signal to start making their way to the pitch.
"Welcome to our viewers from all around the world, it's your regular commentator Jim Waterson and joining me in the studio as always is Mr. Steve Waterson." Jim expressed.
"Hello and welcome everyone, it's good to be back here to watch and talk about the continuation of a match that started last week at St. Jakob-Park, it was an entertaining match, and I'm sure this one will not disappoint." Steve expressed.
The players lined up in front of the pitch, and after shaking hands with each other, the captains of both teams made their way to the referee for the coin toss.
Adolf ended up winning the coin toss, so he chose the goalpost on the left and Unique FC were going to bed the ones to start the match from the kick-off spot.
"The first leg was a tight match but in the end, Unique FC managed to emerge Victorious thanks to a brilliant pass from Mateo and a wonderful finish from Fredinho," Jim said. "I'm sure looking forward to something better in this one, a comeback is still possible and if that should happen, it's going to be wild."
"Certainly, but I doubt that Unique FC's going to let go of their lead that easily," Steve said.
Fredinho was standing over the ball and all he needed was the referee's whistle to put the show on the road.
As always, they were playing the four-three-three C formation; they had Norman, Adolf, Pirlo, and Roland at the back.
Martinez, Ferran, and Minino were in midfield, and upfront, they had Merino Fredinho and Mateo.
FC Basel on the other hand were also using the same formation they used in the first leg.

'Wait, is this the kind of quest you were talking about?'
<Yeah>
'But, I don't have to complete it, right.'
<Uh...about that>
[ System functions have been deactivated ]
[ Skills and attributes have been deactivated ]
'Wait, just like that.'
<It's a compulsory quest, I should have told you earlier>
'If my system functions have been deactivated, how are you still talking?'
<Because I'm not particularly part of the system, I've told you this a couple of times, I'm just a voice assistant, I don't control the actions>
'Oh, I see, so I don't have any of my special attributes in this match.'
<Yeah, but your physical stats are still there, the only skill you have been using that much is ball magnet, I'm sure you'll be able to pull through this>
'Yeah, I can do it.' The goalkeeper said subconsciously before joining both of his hands together.
As soon as he said that, the referee blew his whistle to signal the start of the match.
"There's the whistle and we are on the way."
Fredinho quickly pushed the ball to Minino as soon as he heard the whistle.
Minio received the ball and just before Hans could get to him, he passed it to Adolf who sent it rolling to Roland.
Roland got his foot and quickly zoomed past the midfielder hearing toward him before laying the ball off toward Mateo.
"Mateo."
Mateo moved a little further down the wing before he pushed the ball to Ferran and quickly got past the player blocking his path to receive the ball back from Ferran.
"Nice combination between Ferran and Mateo as always," Steve said.
The winger tried to dribble past the right back, but that was a mistake as it resulted in him losing the ball.
The defender was aggressive to the level that he couldn't handle and he ended up winning the ball without fouling him.
"Nice work from the defender there to get the ball off Mateo," Jim said.
He pushed the ball to the central midfielder on the right and without further ado, he pushed the ball to Hans who had to send it to Henrique behind him to avoid losing it.
"Henrique."
Ferran quickly rushed to Henrique to try and take the ball off him but the winger was calm and composed despite that.
All he needed to take care of Ferran was a little bit of skill and ball control and boy did he drag the midfielder around in midfield before pushing the ball to Reto on the left.
"Henrique did Ferran quite dirty there," Steve said.
"Yeah, he's not happy about that," Jim said.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmReto received the ball and quickly raced down the wing until his path was blocked by Norman and Pirlo.
He was forced to push the ball back to the midfielder behind him and that midfielder had Minino right in front of him, but before Minino could do anything, he sent the ball rolling to Hans.
The striker knew Adolf was right behind him and quickly twisted away from him.
"Oh, he's gotten away from Adolf!"
Without hesitation, the striker fired the ball toward the right side of the goalpost.
Dave dived toward the ball just at the right time to hit it out.
"Saved by Dave but it's not over yet."
The excitement was slowly building to the climax.
Henrique quickly zoomed past Roland to get to the ball inside the box before Dave could get his hand on it, and with the heel of his left boot, he stabbed the ball into the goalpost.
"It's in! FC Basel has finally pulled one back just early into the first half!" Jim exclaimed. "Henrique needed that goal and he did everything he could to get it!"
The winger quickly raced to the sidelines and did a knee slide before his teammates got to him and fell on his body.
Their fans were celebrating wildly now while Unique FC players' faces didn't look so bright.
"It looks like Dave Richards has finally conceded his first goal in all competitions this season," Jim said.
The goalkeeper let out a sigh as he relaxed his back on the right post with his hands on his waist.
